Biological Science (6th Edition)

This textbook served as an excellent supplement to my biology professor's lectures. Although I was fortunate to have a great biology professor who loves teaching, certain concepts need to be thoroughly studied by oneself in order to actually understand them. This book had excellent explanations in a readable font and very colorful pictures and diagrams that served as alternate explanations for difficult subjects. I also appreciated the inclusion of a small chapter summary and review at the end of each chapter to reinforce difficult concepts. Overall, this was a very useful textbook and it actually made bland subjects very interesting.

I haven't read this book but it is an updated version of the one that was used when i took the college biology course so a certain level authoritativeness is expected.

Shoutout to my professors who make us read this! Can’t say my time is completely wasted but it isn’t spent all that pleasantly either:) Download is fine, doesn’t take much time. Sometimes you come across funny sentences and hidden bio jokes if you read closely. Entertaining.

Freeman Biology is the required text for UNM's core biology sequence and I definitely know why: Pros: - Emphasis on experimental design and discovery - Beautiful and easy to understand models - Lots of practice questions Cons: - Can be dense with textual information at times - A lot of times Freeman chooses to emphasize information that my lecturers feel may not be necessary Overall a great textbook and actually readable.

Book is in excellent condition and fast shipping, great value and easy transaction.

I know the book is rented, but so I don't get charged for it, the connecting area between the spine and cover is ripped. The pages of the book are fine, but it definitely is worn.

Biological Science is acclaimed for its clear. The book has a friendly style, excellent illustrations and multimedia material. Connect with real-life biological applications and scientific problems through boxes. In my opinion, Biological Science is the best textbook regarding life and biology.
