Doesn't stick well

I was running out of Command strips and decided to get these for less money. I hung up some art with my usual Command strips and only one with this. It ended up falling in the middle of the night and my frame broke. I also hurt my hand like other reviewers when I didn't get the placement right the first time and had to remove it and do it again. The hook will fling back at your hand hard and cut you. It was a regrettable purchase and definitely worth it to pay more for the original. ***UPDATE - 1 YEAR LATER***: I'm moving out of my apartment and it's time to take down my frames. About half are hung with Command strips and those came off as expected with zero damage and half hung with these. On every single one of these, the tabs were really brittle to the touch and tore off (the tab alone) when I started trying to remove the mount, at which point I had to try to slowly pry it off and is destroyed my paint. I cannot stress enough how much it's worth the extra few dollars to go with name brand. I tried to save a few bucks and it's gonna cost me $100+ in security deposit. This is SUCH a trash product.

Very easy to use. This holds up my pictures that I have displayed throughout my home. It also is used to hold bigger pictures on a canvas. When I use it on a canvas, I usually use two. If you don’t like the placement and you have to redo the back sticker, you can buy the normal command strips for the back.

I bought these for picture hanging because they have a hook at the top as well as the bottom. If you don’t want to see these above your pictures then the top hook is a must. These work just like the name brand, but cost much less. Plus the two hook potions are nice to have. I give these a good press into the wall for 30-45 seconds so that they will adhere, then usually wait until the next day to hang any weight on them. If you don’t wait a few hours, they don’t stick, just like the brand name. The only fault I can find is that they are stronger than the paint in my new house. I had a large clock hung on one of these pull the paint right off the wall. Can’t really fault the hangers, that’s on the paint and the painters!

This item is made for hanging items liter than a picture. 👎 not easy to remove once placed. Tried to pull the tab and it broke, so I couldn't remove it. Still on the wall unusable. Wanted to return but decided it wasn't worth the cost. Not happy with this item.

I used them for a visual arts class. this summer. Attached them to the back of multiple laptops, tablets and cell phones, that had died in the last decade. They stuck great. I used fishing line to hold them up in a few shots and they held everything perfectly. admit, i have used them years ago for hanging stuff in rental apartments, and they never even left a mark on any wall. They held up very heavy laptops, these things have and do work.

I bought these no-nail picture hangers last year for use in my office to put up some photos. I really didn’t want to put nails in the wall so these seemed like a great solution. The instructions are very clear about cleaning the surface so the adhesive strips adhere strongly to the wall, and I was careful to wash and rinse the area and let it thoroughly dry. To install, you peel the backing strip from the tape and press the hanger firmly to the wall so the tape sticks securely. The instructions say not to hang your picture right away to give the adhesive strip time to set. I waited over a weekend before hanging my pictures. Admittedly, getting the pictures hung really looked nice and I got compliments from coworkers. These hangers worked great and I was about to write a 5-star review. However, about a month after hanging up my pictures, two of the hangers pulled loose from the wall and dropped the pictures to the floor. One picture was not damaged, but the other broke the glass and cracked the frame. As you can see in my photos, the hanger pulled completely away from the wall except for about a half inch on the bottom. I am not happy! I think these hangers would work better on a smooth surface like ceramic tile where it’s impractical to put a nail, but on a painted surface, the adhesion just doesn’t last. I have removed all of these hangers now and replaced them with nails. Sometimes using the tried and true solution works best! Not Recommended.

I love these!!! Perfect for hanging pictures. Very easy to use. Can work with multiple types of picture frames. Easily removed and doesn’t leave holes in the wall!
