If you have a ton of cameras on your Unifi system this thing is a great add-on. View them on a big screen tv with HDMI interface.

Love this device, we have to set up throughout the office so that different people can keep eyes on security cameras. However, I feel that because it’s a UniFi, I should be able to set one of these up anywhere in the world and still be able to see the same video screens. It’s really a flaw in their system that they don’t have it but you can link it and have it auto trace back to home for the footage.

This product is really easy to control from any device. You just configure a dashboard in the Protect application and then assign it to this device. It will then instantly show up on your monitor.

Highly recommended ... works exactly as described. Much better way to go vs using a laptop or computer to view your camera(s).

Outside of the price and supply chain issues for these devices; they work very well and are reliable.

The UniFi Protect ViewPort is a solid piece of hardware overall, especially if you’re fully invested in the UniFi ecosystem. Setup is straightforward, and when paired with UniFi cameras, it performs flawlessly with smooth, stable video output and a clean viewing experience. However, my experience with ONVIF camera integration has been less consistent. Initially, I encountered instability issues where the camera feeds would constantly disconnect and reconnect, which made monitoring unreliable. While things improved somewhat over time, it’s still not as stable as I’d expect. Another limitation is that no more than three ONVIF cameras can be displayed in full resolution at once. When adding more, the display scales down and introduces vertical bars, making each feed smaller and less useful for detailed monitoring. On the positive side, there are no such issues when using UniFi cameras—they work exactly as intended without any of the instability or display limitations. Overall, it’s a great product if you’re sticking with UniFi cameras, but ONVIF users should be aware of these limitations before purchasing.

Die Integration in das UniFi Protect-Ökosystem ist nahtlos – das Gerät wird sofort erkannt, und man kann innerhalb weniger Minuten seine bevorzugte Ansicht konfigurieren. Performance und Zuverlässigkeit Die Bildqualität ist gestochen scharf, und die Übertragung läuft absolut flüssig ohne Verzögerungen. Auch bei mehreren Kameras gleichzeitig bleibt das System stabil. Es gibt keine störenden Ruckler oder Lags – genau das, was man in einer Überwachungsumgebung braucht. Zudem läuft das Gerät extrem zuverlässig 24/7 durch, ohne Abstürze oder Probleme. Flexibles Layout und einfache Bedienung Mit UniFi Protect kann man verschiedene Anzeigemodi wählen – ob Einzelbild, Splitscreen oder eine Rotation der Kameras, alles lässt sich individuell anpassen. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man das Layout bequem über die UniFi Protect App oder die Web-Oberfläche steuern kann. Man braucht keine zusätzliche Maus oder Tastatur, was das System sehr benutzerfreundlich macht. Perfekte Ergänzung für das UniFi Protect Ökosystem Wer bereits UniFi Protect nutzt, wird diesen HDMI Live View lieben. Es fühlt sich einfach an, als wäre es von Anfang an ein fester Bestandteil des Systems. Alles funktioniert reibungslos, und man merkt, dass Ubiquiti genau weiß, wie man Hardware und Software perfekt aufeinander abstimmt. Fazit: Eine klare Empfehlung! Dieses Gerät ist ein Must-Have für alle UniFi Protect Nutzer, die eine einfache und zuverlässige Live-Überwachung möchten. Perfekte Integration, stabile Performance und ein durchdachtes Design – besser geht es nicht! Does exactly as advertised. Able to take 12 camera's and output to HDMI. Tried 3 different displays and all work seamlessly. a 12yr old Pioneer plasma... A 6yr old LG monitor... and a 1 yr old Acer Monitor. Easy peazy. Running on a Unifi Switch 16 POE

As always, Ubiquity delivers fantastic quality kit. It arrived on time and was incredibly easy to set up. It works perfectly with my dream machine powered on PoE.
