Is the end with one size outlet fit 2cm?** A: It did not fit my top load washer, and did not come with clamps. I bought one at Lowes , where you can see it. **Q: What is the horse shoe looking thing for** A: Hi... you connect the horse shoe to the hose than it hooks on to the wall water drain. Otherwise you'd have water spraying all over with no support on the water hose because of pressure. If using as a substitute to add to tub I hook it on to the water spout leaving enough hose room in the bathtub to drain the water. Be careful if you substitute with a small sink water pressure will cause hose to wiggle around make it overflow. Not advised. A bathtub will work if next to your wash room. I got a ventless washer dryer all in one for a condo that had water lines but no vent to exterior. So anyway the drain line was originally a hole from the laundry “closet” where the water heater is and the washer lines into the opposing wall bathroom shower. So the whole was filled with grout or whatever on the tile side and a patch on drywall side. My washer line is 1”. The outlet side of this extender is 1” a perfect match with the included white sleeve coupler. So I drilled a 11/8” hole through the grout hole in tile wall thinking I was going to insert the drain hose into the step down connection and out into the shower with the 1” side. But when I drilled the hole all the plaster or grout whatever crumbled because the actual hole was about 2.5” around. So I drilled a 1 1/4” hole and slid the extender in backwards until the step down seated into the hole and stuck out of the tile like an inch and created by itself a relatively sealed nice tight drain spout that held firm right away like snug. Now there was void around the spout exit and the tile due to the hole size so I just siliconed it in and it is permanent. Then I just connected the two 1” drain lines together with the included yellow y clamps and done. Also siliconed the drywall side.This hose for me worked way better than I had anticipated. Didn’t have to cut or anything and didn’t use the u clamp wall bracket it came with. O btw it’s not like the greatest plastic but it’s fine. Little thin but for the cost and outcome wow.
