Brand New Deliver In 6-18 Working Days Review: This is a Very Good Book. - The book was in New Condition, came quickly, and is an excellent book to give as a gift. Review: Great entry point for new coaches - I started coaching four years ago and this was the FIRST book I read on the subject. Since then I’ve read dozens of coaching books, and this is still one of my top 3. So many educational books try to do too much, and fail to make a cohesive unifying point — so you walk away with information overload, wondering what the actual point was. Sometimes, less is more!

This actually works
This wasn’t the easiest or most entertaining to read and pay attention to, but my coworker started using these questions on me verbatim and wow!!! It really improved our conversations!! I’m definitely going to try to adopt these into my life.

True conversation starters for coaching
A fast pace read to learn questions that will guide a conversation so the client finds the solutions. There is supporting data and research as well as supplemental resources provided. Very good material and highly recommended.

Small print
Reading is difficult for someone with challenging eyesight.

Worth referencing, not a very enjoyable read.
PROS: 1. The seven questions offered in the book are helpful jumping off points for basic coaching in the workplace. 2. Great for those with no coaching experience and who do not actually need to function as a coach in their job. CONS: 1. The content is most appropriate for managers, team leaders, and other corporate employees. The questions aren't enough to do full-scope coaching. 2. The analogies and intro stories shared really lost me. I found many difficult to connect to the idea being taught so it felt like there was a lot of writing in areas that could have been clearer, more concise, and less embellished. 3. The book had two sections of several pages that were repeated and out of order. Making it objectively a poor quality print that was frustrating to read.
