This edition was great. Not only the beautiful Pulitzer Prioze winning play but tons of history, information about the development of the play and candid comments from Thornton Wilder. Also some rare pictures of performances and production personnel. A gem.

Thornton Wilder is the diametric opposite of Portuguese author Fernando Pessoa. Pessoa is depressing beyond belief finding no joy whatsoever or purpose in life. Thornton, in this incredible play, shows us how important it is to savour every wonderful magical moment of life. It will be staged at the end of 2024 in New York with Jim Parsons and Katie Holmes among other great actors. Thornton was one of the greatest minds and playwrights of our time.

I bought this book as a gift for a friend who enjoys reading this author and he completely loved it.

I acted in a play based on Thronton Wildre's 'Our town' when I was 16 years old. It was a trip down memory lane and I am glad I have purchased it now for my library. Lovely words to cherish and look back on.
