I like it
Expected it to be heavier, not a bad replica. I like it and decent price

Decent quality prop, close enough
This is my first experience with WETA props and I really like it. Yes, it's kinda small and not exactly like the runestone in the movie, but I wouldn't be able to afford one exactly like in the movie, so I'm grateful for the prop. Kili and Fili were my favorite dwarves, after Thorin Oakenshield himself, of course. It's a nice piece of movie memorabilia that helps quell those tears during the scene of Kili's death with Tauriel.

Really Good Quality for Price and Authenticity!
I got this replica as a gift for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. For those of you who don't know, this replica is made by Weta Workshop, who were the special effects and prop designers for Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. It is of great quality for the price and it will certainly make for a gift for any nerd in your life! No, it is not labradorite. However, if you read further in the product's description, it states clearly that it is made of POLYSTONE, not labradorite. The statement "Gifted to kill by his mother, this labradorite stone bore six runes etched onto its polished surface return to me." is simply regarding what it is in the movies, not what the actual replica is made out of. Great buy! Will be buying from Weta again!

Well made!
This is a well made prop duplicate/replica. It has some weight to it and comes in a nice pouch. The runes are easy to see and the overall design is perfect. It is kinda small though.

Nice to Look at
It is a nice shinny prop from the movies to have. Yes indeed it doesn't look like what we saw in the movie (A real stone perhaps), none less it is very nice. I am happy with the purchase.

Not Labradorite
So I bought this for my husband, we own a rock shop and are both huge LOTR and Hobbit fans so I figured this would be perfect for Christmas. Sadly, looks like I’m going to have to carve my own, which was my backup plan, but still. It was not labradorite like it states, I’m not sure what it really is honestly. I’m a little disappointed, but it could be worse I suppose.

If you loved the film and Kili touched your ❤
If you loved The Hobbit by Peter Jackson and the plight of Killi touches your heart, then you will over look the flaws I see in this item and you will like it. I came an old fan of JRR Tolkien and have read every thing including The Hobbit. It bothers me that this item is not in the book and the fact that it looks like bowling ball material that was smashed like a ball of used gum on a cool floor.

Average. The size and heft of the piece don't really live up to expectations
Not a bad item per se, but then nothing great either. The heft and appearance/finish of the piece are average, just doesn't capture the mystique and charm of the billing of "Kili's Runestone". Hobbit memorabilia have a tall yardstick to live up to, what with the film trilogy and the characters becoming cult classics. This item, while it is OK in its way, just doesn't manage to capture that needed aura. For one thing, it's much smaller and lighter than what the (zoomed) display photo would suggest. Secondly, the color and finish itself is quite average- not much gloss. All in all, keep your expectations low/medium, and you won't get disappointed. On the other hand, if your expectations of Kili memorabilia is something much more impactful, then this is best avoided.
