Doesn't need much room
Fits in tight spaces on a handlebar due to the thin mounting bracket. - I've used one of these for 5 years, and it has worked fine. I bought this one to add a ZumoXT mount on a dirt bike.

Perfect mount for a Zumo XT.
Irony. When I bought the GPS, the description, said available separately. NBD, hunted down the parts, and got them. Next day, Zumo arrives, and lo and behold, there is a motorcycle mount kit in the box, sigh. So, mounted it on my KLR, easy to adjust, stout, and holds the unit securely. Bonus, is extra mount is on my TW 200, so it all worked out. All in all, get the GPS first, then buy the mounting kit if needed. TL/DR: Great product, works very well.
