*** Edited review for camera ***Best midranger for 2020-2021
***Review edited with better use of the device*** Previously I had given this 4 star rating but now changed to 5 stars! Please read all of this review because the other Amazon review(s) need to educate them selves regarding the camera seating within the frame and OIS (optical image stabilization). This is a decent lengthy review so hope it helps everyone out. My previous phone before was a Realme X2 Pro (256gb/12gb ram). The specs said it all from stereo speakers, Stella battery life to the high refresh rate screen and 50w charging. The 64mp quad camera was good but megapixels don't mean better. Owned for approx 2 years and never put a foot wrong. I still don't want to part from it but it lack 2 things for me. Micro SD card slot and IP68 dust/water resistance. I love my phones and gadgets! I originally got this phone in November but sent it back within a week due to a weak signal reception from the device. Also paying over ยฃ600 notes felt like I wasn't upgrading at all from the previous phone which was actually cheaper. Bought this once again 10 days ago and gave it another chance since it came down in price by a fair whack. So far it doesn't outperform my previous device in sheer performance apart from the OIS camera, SD card and IP68 rating. The battery is decent but seems to drops from 100% to 89% quickly. After this the battery drain is slow and holding charge well. Strange really as my previous phone held charge much better yet it was a smaller battery. Then again it held 2x2000mah due to 50w quick charging state. It also had screen auto adaptive from 60hz to 90hz. The Samsung is either 60hz or 120hz fixed. No adaptive settings. I want to keep it at 120hz because the previous phone was smooth with its high refresh rate but battery does take a small hit with it. Wish the Samsung had auto screen adaptive. The charging of this Samsung is relatively slow. 25w wired sounds alot (better than apple phones these days) but no match to the Oppo, Realme, Oneplue phones and other China/Indian phones. So abit of a down grade from my previous phone. The issue is happening again with reception on the device. I'm with EE but had a thought my sim card is fairly old. I always got full reception with my other phone but they was 4g. This is 5g and should be using it as one. Nipped into EE store and got a replacement SIM. All good for now! Not full 4 bars like my old phone but holds better signal. Think that's due to the dual antenna in the previous phone for gaming etc. I've always been a fan of Samsung devices. Think they need to catch up with charging capabilities and better battery management then it could be best all-rounder for the price. If your in for a new phone, I can highly recommend this. It's difficult to give up what you once had as your just too used to it. But at least the Samsung is much lighter as it's not completely made of glass. The stereo speakers are good but not the best. It lacks alittle low end and sounds abit tinny from the ear piece. Previous device was more well balanced, louder and cleaner at higher volumes. But this could be due to the water resistance? It would be good that you could control the output of either speaker to balance it out abit more. Selfie camera is better but still fixed focus and not autofocus. I did afew selfies in the park yesterday meeting up with family and have to say it's very good. Love it in fact! Again previous phone was 32mp but megapixels aren't everything. The Samsung puts the Realme phone to shame in this department. The rear cameras are excellent and even better with Google camera (GCAM) during low light. Absolutely love it! The Samsung camera app is brilliant as well. The portrait mode is out of this world compared to the GCAM version. I only get 3x optical zoom which is enough but previous phone had hybrid 5x zoom. The older phone didn't have OIS (optical image stabilization) and started to pixelate as you zoomed in after 5x zoom. This setup on this Samsung phone is perfect! Telephoto lens, wide angle camera and main shooter. 12 megapixel camera puts the 64 megapixel to shame on my last phone. You see, MP isn't everything but more to the algorithm, the setup and how it's used with the processing. The wide angle camera it brilliant. A decent job of pictures but slight barrel roll on the edges but that's to be expected. The main 12mp camera is very sharp and crisp! One of the best and alot of said the S20 FE (5G) puts the higher priced phones to shame. Even there own Samsung flagships! I've just started to use the wireless charging (wireless samsung charger) but using a 2A/5V output on my Qualcomm charger because I don't want it to produce heat when charging. I've also turned off the fast charger mode within the phones options. Overall it will serve me the purpose probably for 2 years unless I come across problems. At least with Samsung devices, they hold value unlike Realme, Oppo and Oneplus since not many people have heard of them yet excell is most places compared to major brands. Also the Samsung is good for 3 years up dates which is fab news! Ones already taken though and is now on Android 11. The finger print scanner is good. Works every time! Just one mark knocked off for the face recognition. It's crap during low light! Don't expect to unlock your phone at night time with just one lamp on in the room. My previous Realme device was lightning quick and unlocked in all lighting conditions. In fact so damn responsive I barely used the finger print reader. But it's not a deal breaker on the Samsung device. *** Can I just highlight from other reviews regarding the camera not sitting straight. The camera setup on the rear may look out of line or not straight but this is due to optical image stabilization which is in a resting state while the camera app is turned off. Turn your camera mode/app on, turn the phone around to see the cameras and you will see they all now sit flush. Turn your phone off while the camera is facing you and you will notice the cameras flicker/drop back into rest mode. Please educate yourselves before leaving bad/negative reviews because of this when you don't have a clue what your on about the technology is being use here *** I hope this review has proved helpful. I just wish I made the purchase for the 8GB/256GB model when they had a flash which which was only ยฃ25 more than the 6GB/128GB model.

Ottimo telefono per connessione, durata batteria, e obiettivi.. peccato solo che lo slot sim/memory card, supporta max 2 elementi quindi o dual sim o sim/espansione; Consigliato

Lieferung ging extrem schnell

Should last another 10 years
Extremely impressive ability to find and hang on to a mobile signal. Quite remarkable. microSD card means cheap to upgrade into the future, although it's a pity it can't do eSIM because that does mean sacrificing the dual SIM capability. The fingerprint reader can only register 3 prints, is sometimes a bit hit and miss, and isn't the fastest. But basically works fine. The camera system itself can be really very good, but doesn't consistently deliver great point-and-shoot results via Samsung's software without skilled intervention. An app from the Play Store called Open Camera is a must in addition to Samsung's, depending on the subject/conditions (DRO mode on that is much better than Samsung's Auto HDR, for example, when it comes to landscapes, and the Samsung app's video can be very mushy in comparison). For some reason Samsung's Portrait Mode works astonishingly well in low light indoors whilst a straight shot outdoors towards dusk will end up with poorly resolved, over-smoothed detail in grass and leaves. Selfie results are much better in Portrait Mode too. Otherwise they are soft and somehow low-res even at 32MP. Similarly, Night Mode works really well for a kind of impressive-though-unnatural slide film result, but if you want a sharp and grainy snap in low light, Samsung doesn't want to give it to you. The standard lens also isn't sharp to the edges, which can be annoying, especially for documents; where the cropping interface adds to the faff by being overly sensitive. The Gallery app is very good. Supremely easy to get along with and do everything you want, and very fluid. The sound optimisation feature for headphones is amazing in terms of delivering call clarity. And the phone's speakers and noise cancellation are excellent too. There's no physical proximity sensor (it's "virtual") so if you want to use headphones to make a call, however, and put the phone back in your pocket, you have to press home and then lock the screen with the side button first, otherwise the screen wakes up and all the buttons get pressed! The "View all.." button in the Samsung SMS app is irritating at first, but actually a great improvement once you get used to it. On the other hand, not being able to customise the look/colour of the bubbles and background without applying an overall OneUI theme isn't an improvement at all. (Incidentally, you pinch to zoom to change the text size: there's no setting for it.) It's possible to lock the processor power to high, which is handy, and the auto screen brightness works pretty well. The screen is Gorilla Glass 3, which is a bonus for longevity because it's more scratch resistant than version 5 (which is optimised for drop damage). Much of the above is just for information. Overall, it's a brilliant device with a well-judged balance of features which should mean it lasts very well rather than adding to the world's techno junk pile after a few years (including update support guaranteed into Android 12). Very happy with it. UPDATE: Just to correct another review I saw, this phone, in the 5G Qualcomm variant, *does* support the aptx HD Bluetooth codec, as can be confirmed by activating Developer Options in settings and checking what is selected when compatible headphones are connected.
