Yes. I’ve used this with the wireless go II. Just keep in mind it’s only a single mic holder so if you also wanted to have one as well as hand one to guest, buy 2.

Yes. It comes with a foam wind screen.

Q: Will this work with a standard desktop mic stand? what size is the smaller part (diameter)?

I use a Moukey Desk Mic Stand Universal, Adjustable Desktop Mic Stand. It's not perfect, it fits loosely, is portable and foldable, but works and costs only $12.99 on Amazon.

Q: Looking for the windshield/foam without the brand name, anyone?

It’s only made by Rode with the branding. You could check with Windtech to see if they’ll make you some.
