The Little Big Chef: My First Kids Cookbook, 100 Fun and Easy Recipes

Ordered for a Christmas gift. Glanced through it and found so many typos it was ridiculous. Noticed one recipe for a chicken soup that had no chicken listed in the ingredients. ( despite being in the picture). I’m returning it.

Don has some lucky kids! Some of us grown ups need help too! I know I am one of them( mom didn't have patience , clean up ,or my inability to grasp things quickly!) This books form too. Simple and easy instructions on things we should know about things in the kitchen such as knife skills, pan frying and food items needed to have on hand in kitchen . Wow!!! On top of that lots recipes such as meatloaf, omelettes, smoothies, etc. Yum!! Recommend highly for young and old alike!🍎🍌🍇🌽🍞🍓😋

The book is printed in black and white, which the listing does mention at the bottom. I couldn't see an option to switch to color when I followed the purchase options link. The quality of the printing is not enough to make the food enticing enough to make based on the pictures. It looks like something my home printer could have done. Since my kid is just learning to read, the pictures are pretty important for them to choose what they want to make.

Purchased this for a friend’s daughter. Some recipes seem pretty basic and there were a couple that sounded like an adult will need to assist. Overall though, it has a good variety of recipes. What I thought was odd and disappointing is that there are no color photos! I think they help you get a better feel for how it should turn out when they are included. I also think a spiral bound book is better for cooking, especially if a child is the chef. I took off stars for those two reasons.

I was extremely impressed with the delicious recipes that are so easy to make by anyone! I actually learned a few tips as well! I did add a few notes. I loved learning a few ideas of a few new recipes that I hope to make sometime in the next few weeks!

Not kid friendly at all. Black and white photos, text that's geared toward adults (very technical, adult point of view). Nothing to grab a kid's attention or interest.

Cookbook is wonderful. Shipped by Amazon in a flat envelop that allowed the book to be bent and warped.

Every recipe we've tried so far was delicious and super easy to make. I like how the book printed, it's style, everything simplified. It perfect to try something new to do with your kid or even use it yourself. I found a lot of new quick ideas for breakfast. The only thing is that pictures are not colored.

The book has taken itsrightful place among our cookbooks at home.Uncomplicated recipes for kids are just what works for us.We have two children,7 and 12years old.Both have found recipes for the dishes they have made and I must say they are very succesful.It's a great recipe book!
