LOVE it~
Don't waste money on lotions! Lotion has all kinds of preservatives and chemicals in them. Lotions are filled with chemicals!

Best Emu Oil so far
Found this little beauty at a natural foods store in Canada. Best emu oil I have found so far! It's thick and creamy, meaning that all the good stuff hasn't been refined out of it. I really like the pump top, though not a lot comes out with each pump and because of the consistency you have to give it awhile between pumps. It's a great way to meter the perfect amount for your face, but might leave you wanting slightly more.

Great Product.
I have struggled with Psoriasis on my scalp for years and have tried the coal tar shampoos and the steroid products. My daughter suggested I try EMU oil as she had read that it was an excellent anti-inflammatory and that it worked well for people with psoriasis and other skin ailments. I initially ordered this same product from another supplier but when I found it on Amazon and with free shipping too I was quite excited. It works amazingly well. It absorbs quickly into the affected area, is very minimally oily and has no fragrance or odor at all. I experienced relief immediately. I can't miss a day though or symptoms reappear. My grand-kids have eczema and they have used the EMU oil also with positive results. I would and have recommended this product to several friends who have suffered from dry and cracked skin and psoriasis or eczema. Only one issue with the pump bottle. If the oil is slightly cool the pump does not seem to work well. I keep the bottle at room temperature now and it works just fine. If you have searched for a product that will alleviate the itch and scaling of psoriasis, this is your product. Nice to know that it is Canadian too.

Rare and exotic, emu oil.
I bought this for my 4 month olds patch of exzema on the back of her neck. Emu oil comes from the Australian bird the Emu and it is traditional to use all parts of the bird. The oil comes from the fat on the back of the emu. It is a nice kind of animal fat smelling oil that is working well to keep her dry itchy exzema moisturized. I like that it comes in a glass bottle. In two days I have already noticed a difference. I will post back in two weeks with the results. The only complaint I have is the pump. I hate it. It always pumps out way more than I need for her tiny neck. I wish it came in a Amber reducer instead. But that is not enough to take a star away. So far I love this product and think everyone should give it a try. Shipping was fast, two days. Great price. Seen it at the health food store for $35.00.

Switch from minoxidil to natural oils!
My hair stared thinning about a year ago; I blame poor diet and stress. It got to a point that I started using Rogaine, and after not seeing any results after about 4 month of constant application of minoxidil, I decided to switch to natural remedies. To begin with, Rogaine had left my scalp dry and Emu oil's anti-inflammatory properties alleviated minoxidil side effects I was experiencing. I massage it on my temples in circular motion and/or areas that my hair has thinned out. I try to do so every night or make a warm oil hair mask by combining Emu oil with lighter oils such as avocado oil or olive oil and leave it for a few hours (or over night). After using the product for a few weeks as a mask, my hair is shinier and it hasn't been falling out as much as before! I'll be updating my review after 4 month if you are interested in a long term review. In case you are worried about it's absorbency, the oil gets absorbed pretty darn fast as the fatty acid composition of pure emu oil is quite similar to what our bodies produce naturally. Finally, I would like to note the shipping was very fast! Kalaya Naturals Emu oil is high in quality as it's odorless, tasteless, light in color and contains no peroxides. Yes, I tasted the oil because I'm trying to be more mindful about what I use on my body after the Rogaine experience :) If you can't inspect the oil in person then it's best to buy directly from a reputable vendor I hope this helps ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ

No longer 100% Emu Oil - DO NOT BUY (PLEASE READ)
First of all, I have used Kalaya's emu oil exclusively for the past 11 years because my skin doesn't produce it's own oil after a medication I was on way back then. I've used and recommend this oil to everyone. My girlfriend, her sister and tons of my friends use it. I've used it when they had the glass bottles, to the cylinder pump bottles, to the glass bottles, back to the cylinder pump bottles and now back to the glass. I've tried almost all of their products over the years from hand creams to, hair shampoo/conditioner and many more. I love kaya and that's why it pains me to write this review, because they've done so much for me over the years. But after their recent change to making the Emu Oil into basically sunflower oil, I fear this is the start of all their products being made cheaper. And what will be the start of this companies demise. It was perfect, 100% emu oil. It helped with my inflammation and kept my skin moisturized but not greasy. It also helped with acne. It's saved both me and my fair skinned friends when we've gotten severe sunburns. However they've recently switched the formula in the past month or two. Now it's essential just sunflower oil. It's sticky and gross, it smells completely different. As soon as I pumped it into my hand I could tell it was a completely different consistency and smell. After flipping the bottle around I was shocked to see emu oil was one of the last ingredients. Kalaya, I beg you guys. You've done me right over the years and supported your company and brought you a ton of business outside myself. Bring back your quality. It's not worth losing all your faithful customers to cut costs. It has already tarnished your brand equity, don't let it kill your brand. UPDATE: I've uploaded a photo where you can compare a bottle I bought last year to a bottle I bought this year. You can see they've cheapened the formula. For a product called emu oil, it's one of the last ingredients now. This product should be called Sunflower Oil.

hmmmm...formula has changed to an oil blend...
I was disappointed to find out after I ordered and received this product that it is now a natural oil blend, not 100% emu oil as it has been in the past when I purchased this product previously from the health food store. However, I have not tried it yet as it just arrived today, so I may update my review later and see if it is better as a blend now, or worse- as I had used the pure emu oil from kalaya before. I remembered my skin being so soft and smooth when I used this oil in conjunction with either hyaluronic acid or tamanu nut oils. I love their little pot of wonder salve as well- I usually have it in my car and use it on my lips daily on my way to work and sometimes use it to rub into my cuticles.
