carbon steel, is not dangerous to scratch, safe to use metal utensils with. I did not season it, and its kind of nonstick. Seasoning (baking with oil while pan is empty in oven for hours) would likely make it extremely nonstick. outperforms teflon in safety and nonstick factor. Decent and happy with it. Slightly unwieldy to get out of the oven with one hand, hurt my fingers due to weight imbalance. Simple to handclean or dishwasher clean. not rusted at all (handwashed for years with airdry). had for a few years. functional. Also doesn't rust in dishwasher. Is good. Some of the pans are a bit small. Muffin pan makes small muffin. None are full length a glass baking pan would be.

The weight was overall fine. It does not leak. The size was just perfect, but it does rust after 2 times of using it the color was ok I used one and it rust just after using twice and I use high grade dawn dish detergent wash my dishes so but you see with your eyes but it’s nice starter till you can invest in something better

These pans have been great! I have had no problems at all, they have been a get set for all of the cooking/baking I do. I would definitely buy again (they have held up great so I might not need to)
