Fellowes 1/16-Inch Binding Covers Thermal, 10-Pack, White (5225101)

I bought these covers to be used with my "MARIGOLD Document Thermal Binding Machine - Perfect Glue Thermal Binder (TB200)" and it works like a charm: all you do is slide the set of documents into the presentation cover, plop it into the binder's slot, wait a couple of minutes and you are done. I have bound a bunch of employee handbooks and they all came out perfect. I didn't have any "loose sheet" or sheets that didn't bind, like some other customers described. I think what was key to my success was choosing the right sized covers. My employee handbooks are 59 pages, so I chose the 30-60 page cover. I also bound SOP manuals that are 24 pages, so I chose the 15-30 page covers. I think as long as the user chooses the correctly-sized cover, they will have 100% success with these covers -- at least when they use it with the Marigold binder.

Excellent purchase. This is the third time I have purchased this item. I also own the Fellows thermal binding machine and together they perform brilliantly. I did a test bind when I first obtained the binder/presentation cover combo. Three hours after binding, I tried to pull the pages out. They did not budge. I then gave them to a ten year old and told him pull out all the pages. A very red face and thirty minutes later, the pages were ripped to shreds, but the bind still held. Need I say more???

Overall works well, sometimes I needed to secure it twice. Could use a bit more adhesive but overall I gave 4 stars because it does work just fine.

I found out about thernal binding not long ago. These binders make my real estate booklets and showing itineraries look like I spent way more than I did. I would suggest this for any Realtor to make your presentations POP!

Works like a charm!

I wish they had more glue in the binding, but otherwise they work. I just always get nervous when binding because when I get to close to the minimums or the maximums these covers hold then I worry that the glue won't hold properly. And I have had one or two that have had to be re-melted a time or two to get them holding everything. Do yourself a favor too, if you can. Invest in a strong stapler that can staple a large amount of paper. I staple everything now before I bind it in these. The combination of the two works wonders.

Previously the Fellowes thermal covers had two thick strips of solid adhesive. And you put the paper sheets in between the thick adhesive strips. The thick adhesive strips are gone. I thought there was something wrong with the thermal covers. Now there is a thin adhesive film and this melts in the thermal binder and binds the paper sheets. The only thing I found was that I need to set the Fellowes thermal binder for a longer time to bind the paper. And this worked.
