This is a super lightweight version of the T8. Everything above the outsole is identical but they are much lighter, and the tread is not as defined. Be cautious though, since the tread is not as thick these boots will tend to show wear sooner and not last as long. I have has two pair of these boots and would highly recommend them you may not want to go back to anything else after you wear these. **Q: Does this version have gortex in them?** A: Not 100% sure but I'd say no. Once these things touch water your foot is gonna be soaked. **Q: I want to know what is the right size for female i am 5.5 in this boots but i dont know what is the difference between 2e us and d(m) what mean?** A: 2E means that the boot is wide, and D(M) means that the boot will be the regular width. **Q: Are there Military Authorized boots ?** A: There are military authorized boots.
