Can you use this clock outside where it will be in rain

My understanding is that the clock is not approved for outdoor use. It is a great clock though, and we have it in our master bathroom.

Why is the backlight suddenly not working after only a week? I put in fresh batteries!

Check that batteries are seated fully and installed pointing in the right direction by observing polarity marked in the bottom of the battery slot. Its a common mistake to turn them backwards.

What are the mounted dimensions of this clock? I have a place in my camper that only has a little over 2" depth that this might fit into...

The distance from the wall to the very front of the clock is exactly 2”. Hope this helps.

Should zinc carbon battery be used for the time battery as you have it for other clocks?

I use regular batteries in this wall clock. You can use too. It should be ok.
