Looks a lot like the razor my husband had previously and I was very happy with the price. I think it shaves good too.

No title
One month in use and stop working.

Poor shave, leaves stubble, creates red bruises
I got this at CVS for only $10 but will return it. It's solidly made, which is good, and the parts look good, the cord is long enough, and the unit is very quiet, but it's a poor shave. It leaves too much stubble. I had a Norelco that just broke after many years and it was superior. The Norelco did leave a bit of stubble, but just a tiny bit I'd get with a manual razor very fast, and to be expected when you can't get at little stubble whiskers at the edge of the mouth or around pimples. The Norelco never hurt the skin and handled contours,like the chin, or cheeks very well. This Vivitar can't get the whiskers on any contours or even for that matter all over in easy spots, and leaves stubble all over, making it pointless to use because I have to use the razor to mop up for as long as I would just using a razor by itself. Worst of all, the Vivitar creats red bumps of bloody mess on the cheeks, ghastly to see. It clears up after about 15 minutes to a half hour, but who wants to show up at work looking like that, and it must be unsanitary, just awful. I suppose this might be a good starter shaver for a teen boy with smooth skin who has just started having a few whiskers, if it doesn't create the red bruises. On 2nd thought, don't torture the boy or any man, toss this out and buy a real shaver from a reputable brand, your face and your newly shaving son's face deserves better.

It will get you by in a fix, but don't pay more than $10
I gave this razor 3 stars ONLY because it will get you by if you need to get rid of a heavy shadow. I usually use a blade, but if I'm in a hurry, I can grab this and shave in the car. I found mine at Ross's for $9.99 & thought I'd try it. For the price I was surprised it even worked, but don't expect much.
