PURE ESSENCE LABS Ionic-Fizz Super D-K Calcium Plus (Mixed Berry, 14.82 106708)

This product has been life changing for me. On one hand, I tore my rotator cuff about three years ago, and while it has healed up through time and a ton of physical therapy, it can still get pretty achy sometimes if I sleep on a bed that's too hard or if I'm too rough during my day to day activities, etc. About three months ago, before I started using the Ionic Fizz Super D-K Calcium Plus product, I was noticing that it was becoming more and more painful no matter how much I nursed it and because I am in my mid-twenties the thought of going through life with constant daily muscle pain at such a young age was really devastating. I originally tried this product as a Magnesium supplement because I had some blood work done and my Magnesium and Vitamin D levels were low, but after taking it for about two weeks I noticed that I wasn't even noticing the pain in my shoulders anymore. I then ran out for almost a month and my shoulder started twinging again...not as badly as before, but the irritation was definitely noticeable again. About two weeks ago I received my 420 gram container and started taking it again once a day.....it's working! My shoulder seems to be back to normal again! I absolutely cannot say everyone will have the same results, but from my experience, I will never go without it again. I've started my boyfriend on it too and he seems to love it as well. The other positive aspect I wanted to mention is that I also have some issues with my stomach lining and cannot take most Vitamin C (such as the chewable lozenges and absolutely no citrus fruits or juices, tomatoes, etc.) because of the high acid content as they cause me pretty severe stomach pain. This product has 417% daily value of Vitamin C but either because of the form that it's in or because of the way this product is processed by my body, I can take this once a day without any pain at all in my stomach. That in itself is pretty miraculous and I was a bit Vitamin C deficient as well and it's such an important part of the body'a processes! And sorry if it's TMI, but the last calcium & magnesium supplement that I tried definitely caused some digestive issues where this one hasn't caused anything like that. The Mixed Berry tastes great, but it is pretty tart even though they add Stevia and label it "Non-Tart" so expect to pucker a bit the first few times you use it. I guess my general point is it's absolutely worth trying! Even if it doesn't change your life as obviously as it has mine, it's a fabulous product!

This makes the best hot drink with my peppermint tea! I drink it each evening and I am having less back spasms. I feel a lot more energy too. Do not mix it in a cold water bottle because it won’t dissolve correctly.

After researching for the best way to get calcium, potassium and magnesium into my regular diet, this product was recommended by a friend and has been my ‘go-to’ product. It is tasty enough and easily dissolved in water. I noticed a side effect of slight constipation when I first started using it, but my system adjusted to it soon after. I also believe it is helping to stop leg cramps.

I do not like the sour patch taste. I do like the fizz and the fact it isn't too sweet. I prefer to use it in smoothies. I will see if there is any difference after my next bone density test. I was diagnosed as having pre-osteoporosis.
