Item (headlight) is very bright and perfect for dark streets, I recommend this product, easy to install and remove to recharge.

Excellent lights for my bike, I bought a set a couple of years ago and they still hold the charge. Super easy to install and bright . Any new bike I get will automatically get lights like this for safety

Seems to be working fine after two months of constant use, would recommend the lights to anyone.

I just got the Gearlight S400 Pro a couple of weeks ago and here is my review based on a couple of weeks' use. Let me start out by pointing out that I am a keen or obsessive cyclist, safety light nut and battery geek. This is probably my fifth or sixth set of lights I have purchased from Gearlight for myself and as gifts for family and friends. The Good The longest I’ve used this so far is for a ride of 43 miles so we know it will last at least 5 hours in flashing mode. It rained during the ride (a lot) so we also know it's waterproof. Water beaded around the switch and on the top surface but the light never faltered. The red rear light is excellent. It fits the old Gearlight mount but has new LEDs and electronics with a new flash sequence. The front lamp has also done some off road riding on a MTB so we know its tough and absorbed a lot of shaking. It is BRIGHT. This is the brightest light I own and we only use it in flashing mode. No one has complained about being blinded… yet. The best feature, to me, is that it is repairable. I hate throwing things away when a battery needs replacing. All Gearlight front lights have been serviceable and I have changed batteries in all of mine of the older design (I am an electronics geek). This new one looks serviceable also. The Not So Good. It no longer uses the unclippable swivel mount. The mount supplied is now a rubber mount that needs to be detached each time you change bike or go inside at you favorite coffee shop stop or just drive home. When the rubber finally gives out that's the end of the light. The other bad news about this mount is that it will only permit mounting on the bars. No stem mount is possible as the light is secured to the mount with 2 screws so rotation is not possible. If your stem or fork is not vertical then your light will shine down or up. I would have been happy to pay a couple of dollars more for the old, adjustable, mount. Conclusion. Great light, bright, long lasting, nice features and serviceable. Can you live with the mount?

I just received this item and first impression I really like it. I have been thru quite a few lights for my motorized bike, and this one might be my favorite. As others have said it's very bright, but I want to point out a few things others may have not mentioned. First, it's very small which I like. I actually mount my lights upside down to minimize it's profile on my handle. My bike already has a lot going on visually and I'd rather my light not be seen, unless it's on. As you can see in the pic for scale, this light is smaller than a credit card! Very well built and solid, including the mount, which does not move or rattle at all, even with the vibration of the motor. Also the button is great. Long press will turn it on or off. Or you can cycle thru the modes very easily with a button that is not recessed, but easy to press even with gloves on. The only question is it's durability long term, which I will update in the future. 👍👍👍👍👍

I got this for about 16 bucks on amazon sale, but it seems to retail for about 20 normally and it's a great bargin for that price IMO. It's brighter than the light that came on my aventon ebike, has 3 brightness levels for the headlight plus a flashing mode, and 3 patterns for the tail light (solid on and a couple different flashing ones). The headlight will also let you long press to turn off from whatever mode you're in so you don't have to cycle through all of them every time which was huge for me. I also wanted to mount this tail light on the back of a cargo rack vs the seat post since my wife's bike usually has a bag on the rack. Much to my surprise, the tail light can be turned in the mount for either a vertical or horizontal orientation so I was able to put it horizontally in line with the rear of the rack. All in all, very impressed for a 20 dollar light. I'm sure there are much brighter out there, but for basic "be seen" night riding this is a great option.

Considering the price, the headlamp works better than expected. I usually ride my bicycle on the road during the pre-dawn hours, so brightness is a primary consideration. The light beam does have a focal point, but much of the light is still sufficiently spread out too. Max brightness is too much for me, but the unit has lower levels that provide enough light with lower battery consumption. Very easy to install on the handlebar. I like that the power button is large, lit and easy to manipulate while riding. The only con to the unit is that the power button, while lit, is actually quite bright in itself. I had to install the unit upside down on the handlebar, so as not to cause such a distraction while riding in the dark. The tail lamp is slim and bright enough. UPDATE - AUGUST 2024: I bought this product a year ago and like it so much I just bought a second one. Still HIGHLY recommend!

The light is bright, but the red blinking "you need a charge" light came on during my 5k ride home, and then the light went dark before arrival. The charge port rubber cover pin broke off, so I started putting plastic tape on to shield from water between charges. Finally, the rubber piece that secures the light to your handlebars torn, rendering it useless as a bicycle light. Could not find replacements for sale anywhere.

Great light up until it didn't work. The charge port on the light broke - it came loose after 1 season and had to jimmy it to get it to connect and charge. It stopped working completely into the next season.

The headlights are quite strong and the battery life seems great but the strap attaching to the handle bar broke and within a month! I’d request the suppler to send me a replacement if possible as without it the headlight is of no use! Thanks
