Leather Edge Bevelers 1.8mm Leather Working Tools Edge Skiving Beveler Leather Skiver Tool for Leathercraft Working

I’ve been doing leather work for years. This thing puts the multi function tools I was using to shame. The type that bevel,scribe,and cut stitching grooves. The #2 beveler was sharp out of the box and cuts like butter. There was a slight cosmetic defect in the finish on the handle that I corrected easily. I wonder how I put up with my old set up for so long. I just ordered a #4. They may not be a Berry King product but they get the job done with ease. Stay away from multi function tools. They do a crappy job at several things.

Cuts like butter

Very sharp and cuts well out of the box. My only problem was trying to sharpen it, it doesn’t hold the edge for very long and doesn’t sharpen well. It’s very dull now even with proper sharpening. If you’re not producing a big volume of products, it should be fine.

Bingo! Sharp and priced moderately. They even had enough respect to put it in a decent foam lined box. Now for a second one in a different size!
