It gets very hot in southern Arizona. So hot that I've had to many instances where 1/4" irrigation tubing works its way off the barbs of the flow rate nozzles they are attached to. Adding these should stop that problem. They compress well. My only fear is they will deteriorate under our intense UV, as many white nylon tie-wraps do. At which point I maybe back at square 1.......

Purchased two different sizes. 100% (all of them) are malformed. The clips cannot be closed. The plastic is formed in such a way that the clips cannot be closed. The barn with teeth does NOT fit between the other two barbs from the other side AND it does not even line up. It's pretty obvious they don't test or even look at their own products.

I was looking for nylon clamps similar to the ones that came with my Anvil Foundry pump. These are similar but much harder to clamp and unclamp. The ones that came with the pump work great and don't require a tool to use whereas these are so hard to clamp I have to use needelnose locking pliers to do anything with them. They do fit the 3/4" OD (1/2" ID) silicone tubing that connects to the pump so I will keep them and only use where I won't be unclamping them frequently. The 3 stars are because I don't think these are nylon like the Foundry clamps but rather some type of hard plastic.

Easy to use with pliers, found that you can quickly release by just applying pressure to each end of clamp jaws in opposite direction so that it just slips sideways out of gripping groves and releases. It springs right back to original shape to reuse. Works well and being plastic won’t rust or oxidize.

I brew beer and these clamps work great on 1/2” silicone tubes. They’re very similar to the clamps that Anvil Foundry products use for their electric brew pots. Don’t worry, you’ll be happy you got them.
