Great value, great packaging, great smell…..love this soak!

My husband did research to find one for me after giving birth and this was really helpful. I was a little scared to use this after a 2nd degree tear but I wish I ordered it sooner. I’m also frustrated/angry my hospital didn’t send me home with a sitz bath or any knowledge of it despite having a tear and despite having a sitz bath at the hospital!!(I didn’t realize what it was till I got home but remembered seeing a sitz bath in my drawer) not sure what the hospital would have offered for the “soak” but I would order this again if needed. It was tricky finding the right temperature for perenium soaks after birth. I recommend starting at a warm temp and adjusting the temperature hotter or colder next soak. You can also use the left over for taking a regular bath afterwards which I highly recommend for new mamas or anyone to do to give themselves some personal love, relaxation, and self care! The smell is very pleasant in my opinion.

This Sitz Bath soak is great! It is basically glorified epsom salt but the aroma??? Wow! So calming and relaxing. I tried it in a smaller bag at first and liked it so much I got this large bag. A pleasant warm bath soak...

Some people complained about the seal being inadequate? Since I bought the 8 lb bag; just in case I am buying an acrylic container to hold the salts. But the product itself is of absolutely EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY. I've NEVER used those 2 words together in any product review. The fact it is made in the USA pleases me no end as well. IMHO you will be hard-pressed to find anything remotely comparable for this price point to quality. It is the 1st product I've added to my Amazon "Essentials" list.

The product itself if very good! I started using the soak postpartum and I saw improvement. I ran out of the 2lb bag and ordered the larger bag...better deal. Just buy the bigger bag. In between receiving the first and second bag I tried putting together Epsom salt, witch hazel and lavender oil in a sitz Bath and I had no improvement. Negative: When I opened the new larger size bag I didn’t realize the ziplock wasn’t attached to the other side :( Now I have an open bag with no ziplock and I’m crossing my figures my husband and I don’t accidentally knock it over.

I was concerned that I might have a problem with the product since some stated they had a problem with the scent and irritation to the skin. I do have this problem sometimes, so I was a little apprehensive about ordering. I purchased the smaller bag first to try out and did not have any issues. I have purchases the larger bag since it was a much better buy and I do feel like I get some benefit from the bath. Nice scent but not over powering. You feel refreshed and relaxed after bathing!

I only use bath salts with essential oils for fragrance. They tend to be expensive. This brand is the best price I’ve found. The fragrance is wonderful and at this price I can use a full cop for each bath and enjoy the full relaxing effects of a long soak.
