Danzcue Adult Split Sole Canvas Ballet Slipper

This is about as close as you can get to professional grade ballet shoes without a steep price tag. I kind of missed the experience of having to sew on the straps with dental floss (iykyk lol), but I am VERY happy with these. These run big so there was a slight learning curve with the sizing. I usually wear a women's 8.5/9 in regular shoes, but the 8.5 in these were a little too big. I ordered another pair in a size 8 and they fit great!

Yay that they have up to adult women's 11. I was really worried reading about sizing that a lot of competitors are very small and many don't even offer size 11. I was looking for like an 11.5 and took a chance in this one. I am not disappointed! They fit fine! I like where the heel and toe pads rest. Tightening the elastic took care of any arch pucker in the fabric. I think they'll only get more comfy as I break them in. I am only using them for classes - nothing serious. I'm not a dancer or athlete - just trying something new and these are priced well and seem fine quality!

I picked these up based on the reviews for a new pair of ballet shoes. I was definitely intrigued by the canvas shoes as I have always used leather. I am not a fan. They do fit small, but that is common with ballet shoes. However, the canvas is a very tight canvas with ZERO stretch to it. It felt like my foot was bound up in it, and I do not think that it will stretch with time either. The knit is just too tight. They are also not breathable at all. I wore them in my house for about 15 minutes (half of that sitting down), and my feet were already sweating. Not the best thing for dance shoes. Also the two pads on the bottom are not placed quite right and started hurting my feet within minutes. On the positive side of these... the are well made. The stitching is tight and I believe that they will last quite a while. Make sure to size up one size. I wear a 9 in street shoes, and after reading the reviews decided to go true to size, and they were a bit tight. They do however work fabulously for wider feet. The overall feel of the shoe itself is great though. I'm glad it has the ties unlike some other ones so you can customize it to your foot. The bunched toe in canvas is a slight bit off-putting though. All in all, I would recommend them to someone looking for a hard canvas ballet shoe that knows that they will not stretch like the leather ones.

I’m normally a size 8.5 and 9 but it seems I need a 9.5 for this shoe. The 9 fits but it’s too tight on my toes and when dancing you definitely need comfortable shoes to prevent damage and pain obviously. They’re so cute too! Stitching is strong with no tears or loose threading.

Size is correct on length. But they are wide. When you tighten the stretchy cord it digs into back of your heal. I wear very short socketts and it helps to take up some of the excess. I won't buy again. I will go with the canvas ones

Very nice dance shoe with slip resistant bottom . The color is true to the description . They are true to size and length and very lightweight . They make the perfect shoe for anyone in ballet or dance. They might even work for a cute slipper. I highly recommend. This is a quality brand.

A nice pink canvas ballet slipper that won't break the bank! The local dance shop didn't have my daughter's size in stock for the Bloch ballet slippers, and she needed them right away. We took our chances on these ones and they fit her perfectly. She likes the soft pink colour as well. Very happy with them.
