Great Alaska Binoculars
After reading many reviews, I chose these for an Alaska cruise. They exceeded my expectations. Wonderful wildlife & scenery viewing. Light enough to wear hiking & all over the ship.

Light weight, comfy hold, close focus
Bought a pair for my girlfriend but will be borrowing them often. Compared with my old Leica trinovid 8x20 BCAs the view is sharper, easier to hold, similar weight, and closer focus. Very nice. Will see how well they hold up over time but seem sturdy.

Clear and lightweight
Functional, lightweight and clear visuals on these bins. I wanted something lightweight and these deliver. Very nice for the price.

Very disappointing
Pros: lightweight, close minimum focus distance, diopter detents ("clicking" diopter ring) good specs on paper Cons: terrible value in 2024 when Chinese imports like Svbony Sv202 are available under $100. The ocular lens is recessed by about 4mm, so the eye relief is not sufficient for use with glasses. Very poor edge distortion, center sharpness is just "OK" for the price... The 8ยฐ FOV claim is moot due to the distortion, it's more like 7ยฐ of acceptable sharpness. The large bridge design makes it a little challenging to hold; ergonomically sub-optimal. The ocular lenses fog up very easily during use, although this depends on weather and YMMV.

Diopter setting was off and eye relief was not as advertised
The zero setting on the diopter wheel was significantly off and using the binoculars with glasses was very unsatisfactory--despite Opticron's high eye relief claim. The image was bright and clear, but the field of view with glasses was limited and I had difficulty finding a satisfactory focus on wildlife. Possibly I received a damaged product. Rather than trying a second pair, I returned it for a Vortex Diamondback 8x28 pair that is just as light and works very well for $100 less--and whose case includes a belt loop.

Lightweight and excellent quality
I love these. They're so lightweight, crystal clear and really easy to adjust. I have another larger oair ov opticron binoculars, but they became to heavyfor me to co forably use. These are great, so lightweight, I take them with me every time I go for walks.

Expensive but Great Binoculars
I was nervous about ordering these binoculars for several reasons. First, the small number of reviews meant I couldn't get a "feel" for the quality of the product. However I can across a few very positive reviews from birders. Second, these are very expensive -- at least by my standards -- for compact binoculars. I was originally planning on getting a pair of Celestron Nature Views but I saw these binoculars on sale in the warehouse for more than half off. At that price I decided to give them a try. I can report these are fine binoculars for birdwatching or terrestrial viewing. The only problem I ran into is that turning the knob feels a little "mushy". I have to adjust on one direction and then dial back a fraction of a turn before I can get things into perfect focus. (I'm wondering if the mushy feel is the reason the binoculars were returned?) Once you get into focus the view is clear and tack sharp. They work fine in cold weather and do not fog up when I bring them outdoors. I don't know if you want to pay the full price but they are a really high quality glasses. These Opticrons are good for a quick view of the moon, but they aren't veryuseful for astronomy. (Compact binoculars aren't recommended for this type of observing.)

Tiny in size.
Very small for a 8x32 binocular, the packaging(box) was beat up however the contents were not damaged, if gifting they would have been returned, also the makers logo was turned to the back of the eyepiece and not on the front as shown on the box. Only cosmetic and as the binocular works fine I can live with that. Price O.K. as one can pay a lot more for an ED 8x32 binocular. However these are not in the same league as say Zeiss or Leica which cost several times more.

Smallest and lightest 8 x 32 binoculars I could find
Smallest and lightest 8 x 32 binoculars I could find. This was also an upgrade from the Opticron Tiaga 8 x 25 binoculars which was 10 years old and was not waterproof ! as I recently discovered. Lightweight and much brighter and sharper than the Tiaga, I am delighted with the visual improvement and very happy with my purchase.
