Don's buy this sink if you're expecting perfection because that's not what this sink is about. It's a very utilitarian sink -- it works hard. It works so hard that you need to do extra to keep it clean. You cannot leave food particles in the bottom of the sink for days on end. The grate helps separate the debris from the dishes, but it can get slimey if you don't keep it clean. If you wait too long, the grate is difficult to clean. I was told to avoid the sharp corners in the sink for that reason.** A: The corners are a tight 90 degrees and it is very difficult to clean them. Within 6 months those corners are the first location that you will see rust and pitting occurr. You then will need a pointy edge to get at the rust in the corners, essentially sanding that tight spot to get that off. I would not buy this sink again because of these tight corners and the need to fully detail this sink every two weeks or so. Now as the pitting increases one year later, I have to consider when I will redo the entire counter $3k + redo just for that section. Reconsider and don't get a sink in stainless with these tight corners. **Q: How sharp is the lip around the sink? Is it ok for bathing a little one?** A: It is not sharp around the edge. Should be okay to bathe the little one. **Q: Is 10 inch depth too deep? Worried it will take too much space on bottom cab with disposal. Considering 8 inch if it’s too big for 10x10 kitchen.** A: With the garbage disposal it doesn't leave as much room under the sink. But for myself I don't store too much under there because I have small grandchildren just paper towels ,sponges and soap so I really don't need much space. If you tend to store a lot under your sink I would go with the shallower depth. So far I really like this sink. Very good quality! Hope this helps. The marble installers and my plumber are in perplexed discussion about the skinny 2” of counter surface allowance in the front and very little clearance to fit the faucet in the back. We are having the same issue with the 32” x 19” workstation kitchen sink. We can make it happen but it is not ideal. If I had to do it again I would get sinks with less than 19” width but it is too late now. I did not see any mention of this in any of the comments hereβ€” I wonder How others dealt with this. Otherwise these are wonderful sinks and everyone likes them.
