Brainstorm Toys Pirate Torch & Projector

Our son loves this projector torch which he got for Christmas! He also received a pirate one from his Grandma. I have noticed a lot of people complaining that the pictures are blurry. In fact, we thought the same when we first used it but soon discovered that you have to focus the image by turning the front of the lens!! It’s a shame people have returned them thinking that they’re faulty when they’re not. The manufacturers ought to make this more clear on the packaging!Great little torch.

I attend a lot of 1000+ people warehouse raves in south London, and these are a life saver for spotting lost friends.In a dark room, they project a very clear 1m x 1m projection of a great white shark/ gorilla / giraffe onto the wall so your mates can easily spot you.

It is very impressive torch! At the beginning I thought it was very blurry image but the front of the torch can be rotated to focus the image. My kids are happy! And I'm happy. ((4yo and 2.5yo)

The space theme pictures are a treat. Engaging for both a 3 and 5 year old, with demands for 'space music' (aka Star Trek theme songs) to be put on, whilst they put on a space adventure show.We also have the cute animals one, but surprisingly the space one is the only one they want to play with. Both sets are excellent.The torches fit well into small hands. The wee ones need some help at times, if they put the disks in the wrong way and can't get them out again (not a biggie). Bear in mind, You need to twist the top part of the torch in order to get the pictures in focus, otherwise you will think you have a broken product.Good buy.

Super torch. Small but that's good for young children, and nice and bright. Also good for older children for use just as a torch as it has got a bright light and is just blue without any 'childish' branding (11 year old happy to use it for a twilight at the museums event). The discs work really well too projecting lots of super images - they are very clear you just need to twist the white front of the torch to focus them. Went down very well with my boys and would definitely recommend, I even bought one to give a friend for a birthday gift (though in a different design) which I know she also loved. Perfect for toddlers to teens!
