Boss is high quality Oil filter
BOSS version of this filter uses best quality material for the medium and has few improvements, to me the cost difference between cheaper versions is only few dollars and makes no sense. I just get the best they offer. I do not rely on mileage recommendations on the filter or the oil and just change oil regularly 4-5k miles or 6 months and use both quality oil and quality filter. Filter itself looks well built with all parts being high quality, fits well, works as expected and overall this brand and model across all cars as of 2025 is regarded as quality product and I agree.

The Best I've Used
We just started doing some of our routine car maintenance ourselves about a year ago and in that time we've been switching oil filters regularly to get a sense on the market. Out of all of the ones we've tried (Honda FRAM, Honda Mahle, FRAMs, Bosch, etc) this one easily has the nicest build out of all of them. We don't have the ability to test the performance of these filters in an empirical way, but from what we can tell they're good and strong and make us feel the most secure in the health of our vehicles. The price is high, but it's worth going the extra mile if you can afford it.

Good filter for your Honda
Use it in my 2007 Honda Odyssey, 2016 Honda Civic and always recommend to my Honda owner friends. I tried FRAM, OEM of course and K&N. While I don't have scientific proof or tests, but just my guts telling me this is good filter lol I drive only 3000 yearly, so I change oil every 6 months with Valvoline Restore and Protect on all my cars

highly satisfied
1. Easy to install and fits perfectly in my vehicle (no leaks or issues) 2. The build feels robust: heavy‑duty casing and good internal support 3. The anti‑drainback valve works — I noticed less dry start harshness after short trips 4. Great value for a premium filter! Only things to watch out for: make sure it’s the correct model for your car, and use it with good quality oil. Otherwise, highly satisfied.

Outstanding Performance and Build Quality
I’ve used many oil filters over the years, but the PurolatorBOSS PBL14610 truly stands out. The construction feels premium, with a rugged outer shell and high-quality synthetic media that delivers excellent filtration. This time, I stocked up for future use—it's that reliable.

Great Filter for Daily Driver
I've spent a lot of time researching and trying different oil filters to determine which one is the best for my application and I have settled on the Purolator One. For me, I have two Hondas that are direct injection/turbocharged and I change my oil and filter regularly at about 4,000 to 6,000 miles using name brand full synthetic oil (usually Pennzoil Platinum or Castrol Edge OW-20). I have also tried the K&N HP-1010, K&N PS-1010, Bosch Premium 3233, and Purolator Boss. I have ordered the Purolator One from Amazon about 8 times at this point and it has always arrived in its original packaging without damage. Sometimes Amazon will have a $2.00 coupon off the listed price, so check this listing regularly and "stock up" when it's cheap. The Purolator One filters at an efficiency rate of 99% at 20 microns and is marketed as being able to withstand a 10,000 mile drain interval. Since I change my filter regularly with every oil change, I have settled on the Purolator One because I don't need the 15,000 mile drain interval that comes with the Purolator Boss. I have never had trouble taking off this filter even after a long winter. I am not going to suggest that this filter is superior to the K&N HP-1010 or the K&N PS-1010, but I like the overall construction of the Purolator filters. Both of the K&Ns have a thicker wall (which is similar to the Purolator Boss) than the Purolator One, which can withstand higher burst pressure and has more durability from road debris. This isn't an issue for my application because my oil filter is unexposed and shielded by a belly pan. The Bosch 3233 is sold cheaper than the Purolator One (about $6.00 on Amazon as of the date of this post). Comparing the Bosch 3233 with the Purolator One, the filters look nearly identical in construction. This is likely because Bosch and Purolator were owned by the same parent company at some point and probably share design components. This filter is far superior than the Fram Extra Guard or Fram Tough Guard in construction. All in all, for the price, the Purolator One seems like the best value for my application. If you are changing your oil at regular intervals and under 10k miles, this is a great filter. If you are going beyond a 10k mile drain interval, you should look at the Purolator Boss or Wix XP.
