The gnats have been capture! You may have the same problem as I do. I live in a area that is heavily populated with trees. 2 street blocks away is a forest that gets logged occasionally. The area has little black gnats that look like dirt on the bottom of my pool. Some of them bite.OUCH!!. If you have a pool that has the blow up ring around the top, then you know these pumps that come in the Quick Set Pool kits are SO inadequate they do not capture these pesty little pests and neither does those blue mesh nets. The first net (blue mesh) we purchased allowed 99% of the gnats and other small debris to flow directly through the mesh net. I cannot tell you how many gnats I have captured with my NEW pool net. The Atie pool Spa Net has a white (almost) FABRIC like mesh.. The fabric is thicker than traditional netting. It appears to be thicker than most lady's high end pantyhose.. Well, whatever the fabric is, this nanny is super excited because I can relax knowing my pool is clean and clear of the little things you dont even realize is in your pool, like pollen or specks of dirt from a childs foot (that you thought showered off prior to entering, or forgot to wear flip flops to the pool and walked bare foot bringing in sand that has migrated out from the sand base under the pool) Maybe you are like me, it is kind of like I have a "swimming pool water OCD" thing in my brain.I am obsessed with keeping my water chemicals perfectly balanced and especially free of any debris. As soon as I see a leaf fall into the water, I am after it!! For HEAVENS sakes I HATE BUGS IN MY POOL !! This devise has given me a since of joy. (I get some exercise walking around scooping up a bug while my grandchildren are having a blast stirring up the water as I am on my bug hunt. its amazing! You think the water is clean but my "Atie Pool Skimmer" is my new best friend. ☆FYI: When you pull it through the water, dont push so hard there is a lot of force against the water, perhaps this might be the reason why people are getting tears in their Atie skimmers) I use mine daily, then my husband uses it. Just go with the flow of the water with slight pressure. Something I find most important about a swimming pool, no matter your age get in and play with your kids/grandchildren. They grow up too fast and summers fly by like a gnat in the night. 👙🏊‍♀️🥽

This is a low-cost skimmer. Period. The cost is what you should keep in mind and is why this got 4 stars. The overall cost was a lot less than the other skimmers. Having said that.... The skimmer is small. Much smaller than I expected. That's a negative, but it is big enough to be usable. With the screen being more of a net than tight, it works for getting leaves and other items off the surface. It also works for getting things from the bottom, but because the plastic is a bit flimsy, I'm not sure how long it will last being used across the bottom of the pool to get leaves and such. So overall, it works. The net is nice, but it is flimsy and small. I'm keeping it as a backup but expect that I'll buy another skimmer where I'll pay a few more dollars, but it will be a lot sturdier. Of course, I should have spent a few more dollars the first time.

Ultra Fine Mesh GREAT for the tiny almost invisible debris and bugs!! Other skimmers allow the tiny gnats and no-see-em flys to escape right through. This is just as ultra fine mesh as a skimmer sock and not only gets the tiny bugs and debris, but also that thin top layer of sunscreen sludge or even pollen. Love this skimmer! Seems sturdy enough to hold up a while, and easy to attach to basic skimmer poles. 10/10 so glad I purchased!

I love it my son bought this for me about 2 yrs ago and it just now finally ripped in the side it took me less than 24 hrs to get a new one . I will never buy a different one

I like the 4" deep pocket, but... the overall dimensions of this skimmer net are much smaller than I was expecting. I can only get about 20 leaves before I have to go dump it out. It's nice that dumping is so easy, and that the net even inverts while dumping and works in either orientation. But I just wish I didn't have to empty it so frequently. It should be a few inches wider.

Very easy to install very durable much better than her last one this catches a lot more debris and has a finer mesh and gets a lot more stuff out of the water seems to be made very well. this is a good value

Fine mesh catches everything from leaves to small insects. Sturdy easy to use and looks to be well made.

I saw A lot of the negative reviews and it made me hesitant to buy. But after just going for it and trying it, having this net for a while now, its perfect and very durable for a bigger hot tub. A lot of the reviews were user error. I use this for my bigger hot tub and the net picks up every little spec/tree droppings/bugs and even with the jets on, the net holds up without tearing. haven't found any issues yet. If you own a hot tub and you are hesitant, hopefully you read this and get this net.

La red no es muy grande y la bolsa no es muy larga, pero es un producto excelente, retira y detiene fácilmente toda la suciedad pequeña del agua, no pesa incluso cuandoestá mojada, eso es excelente ya que se puede su.ergir y recolectar la basura del fondo sin esfuerzo, la malla es muy delgada, anexo foto para que se note y esto hace que no se salgan los residuos a través de los espacios de la malla como otras atrapa hojas. Compraré una de repuesto y por supuesto la recomiendo 😉

Ne correspond pas du tout à ce qui est décrit et de plus pour un prix élevé filet maille fine mais ne suffit pas à prendre le pollent comme cela est indiqué. le filet est beaucoup trop petit et trop peu profond ce qui ne permet pas de garder ce qui est collecté. Cela peut passer pour nettoyer une piscine gonflable enfant mais pas une piscine enterrée.

The only thing wrong with this product is that it does not give you the option of buying the pole which fits over the handle, the sieve itself is excellent.
