The main factor will be the book height... in other words, the height along the spine... If the book is larger in width than the height, you might want to go with the Brodart roll, which can be cut to any width... The standard height is usually 9", which will work in your case if I read you right... **Q: About how many books does one roll cover?** A: Kels, great question. As said by others it depends on the books, but it is simple to find the answers. Either remove the dust jacket from each book and lay flat out including the fold flaps, measure this entire length and make note, as well as make note of the height of the dust jacket. Your covers should be a replica of the dust jacket. Do this for each book you have to cover and figure how many yards you need or email us those measurements and we will do it for you. Is there a particular tape that is recommended for these?** A: I’ve used Scotch Magic Tape as it secures the covers nicely and it is what I have on hand. This tapes shows up cloudy on the cover which does not concern me. However, you might test the classic Scotch tape which is shiny which might look more like the cover material itself.
