Works fine - durable cable
The cable and connectors feels like good quality ones. I used this to power my uniden R4 on my tesla and the wire is long enough from center console. Comes with a bonus usb cable as well.

Perfect replacement for RAD 480I power cord
It is the best power cord replacement. It does what it supposed to powering the radar detector. The USB ports are outstanding though. The 1 amp port is bang on 4.2-4.5V 1A and stable. The 2 amp port is the same. I have logged as high as 1.9A which is better than other USB ports in the car with QI and SMart. The port glow is a perfect level of brightness. It is not a distracting glow. The only "imperfection", probably to make sure it fits the variety of electronics it's for, is the length of 3.5mm power connector. It shows just a little bit of silver when plugged in to my 480I. The original sits flush. It's not something to be unhappy with. It is literally the only thing not perfect about this product. Very happy and thoroughly satisfied with this product.

Works great
The cord for my radar detector stopped working. I was so glad I found this as a replacement. I like that it has a double USB port on the outside that lights up.

Using for Uniden R8, works perfectly. You lose the mute button option (couldnt reach anyways) but its a smaller unit which allowed the storage bin to still fit in the console.

Works Great for my Uniden R3!
I had to replace the factory cord for my R3 because while the radar detector worked great, the factory cord didn't put out enough amps to properly charge my Pixel (USB-C). The plug drives my RD just fine (no remote mute button though). I run my Pixel thru the 2.4 amp connection and my dashcam thru the 1.7 amp. Works great! Three connections thru one cig lighter plug. Very convenient and clutter free! Handy blue low-profile power indicator light shows it's all 5x5. Great purchase!

Perfect fit
I got this for my cobra radar 480i and it’s perfect the length is great and it’s nice to be able to charge my phone while my radar is in use.

Works for radar detector
Power to radar detector works good. USB ports on it not so good. Plug anything into usb ports blows fuse inside the plug in. First one kept blowing fuses. Replacement doing good so far.

Does not stay firmly in place Uniden R3
The male part that plugs into my Uniden R3 doesn't stay secured so it will often loose power... Not a good thing. Blue LED in the base of USB side is way too bright and annoying at night time. In my opinion its worth paying extra for the real adaptor for your device.
