Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant, Exterior & Car Interior Protectant with UV Clear Coat Technology, Non-Greasy Formula for Shining and Protecting Vinyl, Rubber, and Plastic, 15.2 Oz Spray Bottle

Initially purchased the product for automobile use (2010 MX-5). Applied to exterior plastic surfaces of the vehicle, and time will tell if the UV protectant feature performs as advertised. The application definitely refreshed the appearance of the weathered plastic surfaces. Also used the product on a refurbishment project for Malibu exterior LED landscape lighting fixtures! Disassembled and washed/cleaned each fixture after 12 years of outdoor service in AZ desert landscape, then applied Meguiar's protectant to the metal surfaces of each, and wiped. I was pretty amazed at the restorative quality of the product on the fixture's appearances! I anticipate the UV protection will extend the lighting fixtures appearance as being aesthetically refreshed for a few years more.

Very good product. Like all Meguiar's products I've used, this worked well inside and out. A few applications per year is all I need to keep my car looking brand new.

According to Meguiar's, Ultimate Protectant is more or less the same as their Ultimate Black despite the product description might suggest otherwise. They utilize a very similar water based polymer formula and you can use them interchangeably. UP is made in a spray format for people who prefer a spray for interior, whereas UB has higher gloss than UP, so it is personal preference on application method and gloss level. I have been using the UP in and out of my car, and I love the way it works, even on tires. 2 layer of UP gives a classy gloss tire look (attached photo taken under indoor fluorescent lighting) and dries to touch - then gradually reduce to a brand new tire look for a couple of weeks. Your hands will stay clean even if you touch the surfaces dressed by UP. Your trim will not attract dirt or dust like some oil based dressings. UP leaves a fresh new scent too. For interior such as dash, leather, plastics, door seal etc, it might be glossy for some. If that is the case, you can buff it with a towel to reduce the gloss. Compared with Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel (grape juice), a single layer of Endurance gives a higher gloss wet tire look that would wow people who are not into detailing. Endurance lasts a couple of weeks too, but Endurance doesnt really dry to touch.

I liked that, despite being labeled a protectant, it does provide some cleaning as well. I have a convertible and two dogs, who generally don't shed a lot. But a recent heatwave caused some more shedding than normal. So, there was dog hairs dispersed on the interior surfaces. This did a good job of rejuvenating the assorted plastic surfaces - smooth hard plastic, pebbled hard plastic, padded, pebbled dash - giving them a nice, but not excessive shine. However, one trip to the dog park with the top down and there were about the same amount of hairs on the dash and other surfaces again. So, I'm not thrilled with its anti-static abilities. It did dry grease-free though.

My go inbetweener between washing and ceramic reapplying on my two trucks. I love that its a spray witch makes it easy to apply and removal is as easy. Water droplets dance when applied to my trucks and it holds up well considering I am in a coastal area with salt water in the air. No streaking no fuss removal and I have no issues with streaking or overlapping. Its Meguiars you really cannot go wrong with a company that has been doing car care and wash products for a long time. When it comes to protecting your second largest investment, trust brands that have street credit. Go with Meguiars. Easiest products to use for the beginner to the old school car lover.

I like this stuff. Mguires once again comes out with a fantastic product for the average consumer of car care products. If you like that darkened natural shine look on the plastic parts inside your car this is for you. It doesn't have a greasy feeling or look to it at all. It looks natural as if your car was brand new. A little goes a long way also and it seems to hold up for a long time so far because I think it's been about a month since I first used it and it looks like I just did it yesterday. So that's a good sign.

Me gusta el resultado al aplicar el producto. Solo que esperaba que tuviera ese olor agradable que tienen algunos otros de Meguiar's para la limpieza de interiores, pero este no tiene ese olor, sin embargo estoy contento con los resultados le da un aspecto de brillo natural a los interiores (se mira como nuevo) y no deja ningún residuo grasoso.

At first I was not convinced that the shine can last up to 1 week, but hey! my car's dashboard is still shining at 8th day. Happy and satisfied customer here! Meguiar's product would really make you happy :)

ثقيل ويجب مسحه سريعا على الاسطح الظاهره.. ويبقى له اثر في الزوايا الضيقه..لا انصح به للتنظيف السريع.. عملي جدا للتنظيف العميق 👌
