Powerextra 7.2V 2000mAh Ni-MH Replacement Battery for Ontel Swivel Sweeper G1 & G2

Work great, right size. Previous battery lasted 5 years ( we dated it). This time, we got 2 so if one runs out of charge, the other is available. Thick or heavy rugs tend to slow the sweeper, therefore running the battery usage down quicker. Otherwise a charge lasts long enough for a large room 2 or 3 times weekly.

Replacement battery for floor sweeper. Works perfectly. Goid value.

A few years ago, I bought several batteries online for my Swivel Sweeper. Each time I was severely disappointed... they were dead in no time. So, I bought a new Swivel Sweeper, because I didn't want to ever be without one. They are the best! I tried very hard to make the battery last as long as possible, but it finally died. So, I thought I would try one more time to get a battery online. I am overjoyed to say that this battery is holding up very well. I am very careful not to charge the battery longer than seven hours. I set my timer on my Apple watch. This depends on how low the battery is. If I use it for only 15 or 20 minutes, I usually set my timer for 4 hours. They said this battery cannot be over-charged, but I don't want to take any chances.

I have the older Swivel Sweeper in white with the 3 LED lights and no articulation in the handle. My charger is model XR-DC080200 using power adaptor E251203 21XS It a 7.5V 200mAh charger. IMHO this is actually the second generation b/c the first ones were black with no lights. I don't believe this is the G1 or G2, but don't quote me on that. At first, I had NO output from this battery, but then I simply and carefully pulled up on the battery contacts in the battery box (see pic 10) on the Swivel Sweeper and it totally fixed the problem. This battery is miles better than the original 1300mAh NiMh battery. Today, I swept my entire first and second floors with it and it still was going strong. The only problem I have with the Swivel Sweeper and this 7.2v 2000mAh Powerextra Professional Replacement battery is that it is designed so that you accidentally leave it charging which kills the battery. I could eventually start a fire! There is NO built-in auto shut-off like on every other charger on planet Earth. In other words there is no battery management system of any kind. That should be considered a crime as it's potentially dangerous and it would have only cost them $1.02 to incorporate it into the battery or the charger. Instead, they rather have you burn your house down or keep replacing batteries. SHAME ON THEM! The good news is this battery is just what the Swivel Sweeper needs to get good, strong runtime. I've subtracted 1 star for the safety issue.

Worked very well

This it's my Swiffer sweeper well and has brought new life to my old Swiffer sweeper. And fit my existing charger.

This battery is pretty much worthless. I don't recommend this battery at all! After the first recharge, I used it until it needed another recharge. When I put it in the wall adapter to recharge it, the light on the wall adapter went out after 5 minutes. I put it in the sweeper, and it didn't work. I put it back in the wall adapter and again the light went out after 5 minutes. Still, it didn't work. At this point, I've given up trying to get it to work. It's junk and headed to the recycle bin...

The battery that came with the Swivel Sweeper lasted one time and then I couldn't even get through my kitchen without it dying. Super frustrating. This new one.... I have gotten through my entire downstairs of my home 2X and there is still battery power! So happy with this purchase!
