Excellent product/great value
After using this outdoor shower for the first time, my expectations were exceeded. Assembly was quick and easy, durability is sufficient, water flow at the shower head and leg/feet wash is excellent as long as your water supply has good pressure. I used a garden hose hooked up to an outdoor spigot on my house. I didn’t experience any leaks. The unit includes plumbers tape which is necessary to use at each connection to avoid leaks (Plumbing 101). The base of the unit can be filled with water to provide sturdiness for keeping the unit upright, but I may consider adding a concrete solution inside the base for better support in the future. However, the base filled with water is sufficient. The overall value of the shower unit is excellent. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.

Shower Head is Junk
Shower head is junk. Try to tighten it to the fitting and the cheap plastic ring will break, as it is a compression type fitting. Don't tighten it and it leaks all over. Don't these people test this stuff? Just sell a decent plastic shower head that you can screw on tight to the main unit. Simple! I mean for $64 for some plastic, it should work. I am not breaking it down, packing it up, running to the UPS to return it and wait another two weeks.

With a $12 modification, it works pretty good…
As many have said, this outdoor shower could be a lot better. Yes, it’s leaky, and wobbly, with poor quality parts, especially the cheap, weak, quick connect. This is how I fixed some of the issues for $12: 1) saw-off and glue-cap the cheap 1/2” plastic quick-connect T 2) buy a 1” T with a 3/4” pipe thread, saw the main pipe above the old capped connector, but not too high or the shower will be unstable. 3) buy a Brass 3/4” pipe thread to hose thread adapter for the new 1” T 4) buy a set of good Brass quick connects — I use the same brand for all hose connections 5) throw away the awful quality silicone pipe tape, and buy a high-quality roll 6) thoroughly tape all threads in the entire shower fixture, carful to not over-tighten any connection — that can cause leaks! It now works perfectly with no leaks. Yes, it still wobbles, but if you’re careful, it’s not that big a deal. I hope this helps!

Absolutely love it!
We have a 100 percent off-grid cabin right now while waiting on a final turnkey one for our property. We have several different options, but this one straight from the water hose in the summer works great. We have an open shower building that has no top and we can thrown the hoses over to connect to this, or other devices as well as our backup bag showers. Put together in minutes and worked like a charm. Again, this is just for the summer and maybe into the early fall. Our hot water systems will all be working well long before then, but on a hot summers day you get pretty warm water from this one for several minutes. Never extreme cold in the summer so far even from the water sources itself. Wish will had got one of these to start with when we were working toward final solutions on the off-grid cabin. As you can see in the photo we have the other things we use and are working on right now, but wow was this awesome for a quick simple fix. Honestly I am not seeing any problem with them at all other than yes it is a little light weight, but how we have set up for something outside of what it was originally designed for works great. I am sure you might need to weight it a bit outside or on a pool concrete setting. So just a little more work in those situations most likely is the only thing I would think anyone needs to complain about and as far as leaks, as long as it is in tight there is nothing to worry about!

Seems pretty flimsy- Updated review
Update: I ended up swapping the shower head with one I bought separately and I’m actually pretty pleased with this outdoor shower now. I purchased a shower similar to this many years ago. This new shower seems much flimsier than the old shower did. Even with plumber's tape it leaks at the seams. I filled the base with water but it still moves around too much when in use. Obviously it's an outdoor shower so it doesn't matter if it leaks at the seams a bit but for the cost, I wish it sealed up better. But it's an outdoor shower and it works as such.

junk -- doesn't work and too late to return item
I've never bought anything so defective and useless as this item. Unfortunately, we we unable to set it up until after 30 days of receipt, so we can't return the item. I'm terribly upset about Amazon's policy in such matters. This item was missing a part -- the plug for the base to hold water. But this is the least of the problem. The pole doesn't stay straight! It bends in a large arc and keeps toppling over. The plastic is a very poor quality and the spigot that controls water for the foot wash is very stiff and hard to turn. This item is worthless. I can't imagine anything of such poor quality selling for more than $15.00 and that would be a waste of money. We didn't even hook up the water. I can't imagine that it wouldn't fall over with the force of water going through this. Since there's no way to call customer service at Amazon, it's impossible to even try to get some compensation. I'm more than disappointed; I'm angry. Please do not waste your money on this purchase. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Mediocre at best
Overall the shower is flimsy and lightweight, but it will do what it’s intended to do. There’s only one major problem. The glued on “quick connect” hose adapter does not even work - it sprays a lot water everywhere. It’s not just a trickle or small leak. Since it’s glued on I can’t remove it and replace with a good one. i tried some of my female connectors and they don’t fit it either. I cut it off and now I’m trying to find a threaded hose connector that will fit this wonky sized PVC. Then I can add my own quick disconnect that doesn’t leak. I use them on everything, but the 2 pieces (male/female) actually have to fit together to make a seal. After much wasted money and trial and error on adapters, I finally found something that will fit this weird metric PVC. I got a barbed 1/2” drip line repair connector, cut the end off a regular 1/2” garden hose, secured it with 2 hose clamps and then added my quality disconnect. Once it was able to pressurize, I discovered a couple leaks, added more Teflon tape and snugged everything up. We are finally in business. Had I known this is where I’d end up, I wouldn’t have cut the end off the pipe. I would have clamped the hose segment right on to that male quick connect.

Great product, needs proper assembly.
I don't often review but for this product I am making an exception. It is very nice and works well. You need some teflon tape for junctions, clip the included standard hose quick connect all the way, fill the base with water for stability, and voila! the perfect outdoor shower. We hook it to a Y hose in the garage with hot and cold water, and leave the garage tap on all the time so we don't need to adjust the heat, just turn on the shower and bingo!

Very low quality item.
This item leaks badly at the entry point of the hose. I tried plumbers tape, rubber washers, and water proof sealing tape; nothing worked. A jet of water shoots out where the hose attaches. I'm going to rebuild it with a new hose adapter. It looks like it was assembled from bargain basement used parts. Terrible workmanship. This item should be removed from Amazon. Do not purchase.

Frágil
Tiende a caerse fácilmente tal vez falte ponerle un peso extra a la base, pero cumple su prometido
