Sadly made me itch really badly. As soon as I stopped taking it, itching stopped but it WAS gentle on the stomach

These do the job - I haven't had any absorbency issues like I have with other iron supplements. In case it helps anyone else, my GP advised taking these after 2 hours of no food or caffeinated drinks, down the tablet with some orange juice, and then don't eat or have caffeine for a further hour. The only issue I have with these is the smell/taste - I've had two boxes now and the smell when you pop out a capsule from the packaging is awful. Other members of the household agree. It then tastes equally unpleasant if it touches your tongue before you swallow, but if you are having orange juice at the same time it's only a couple of seconds of nastiness. Well worth it to not be anaemic!
