This Mandrel features five bushings, a 7mm diameter shaft, and a tapered Morse to maximize compatibility. The Universal design fits with the majority of MT1 wood lathes on the market, but was designed specifically for the WEN 3420 7 by 12 inch wood Lathe. If you have a mini lathe it may have a Morse taper #1. B you can also get a Morse taper adapter so you can use a #2 in a #1 which decreases the length a bit. If you want too turn pens you need this part.
