Hogue HandAll Beavertail Rubber Grip Sleeve for SPRINGFIELD ARMORY Hellcat

I think the people complaining just tried to force it on in 10 seconds, I put it on a little bit, came back 10 minutes later and pushed it on a little more, rinse and repeat. I think it took 30ish minutes to get it on, no big deal, its a tight fit and you want it that way, if you try o force it on out the gate then of course you will run into problems. I think the bad reviews are user error. I think this helps with the grip 20-30% and absorbs reqoil 7% better meaning I shot close 40% better. The gun wasnt bouncing around in my hand like before and no more shooting low left from over gripping with my pinky and ring finger trying to hang on to the gun. Hellcats are funny because they are pretty snappy being so small and light but if you grip it too hard trying to make up for that, you activate the low left. I just shot 60 rounds through it and 57 were spot on with the acception of 3 flyers, one left, one right and one high which really just came down to cheap ammo more than anything. I cant recomend this enough for the hellcat, a full size metal pistol like a 1911 or 92fs its not needed but for a hellcat this is a must have!

This Handall for Hellcat variant also fits the FN Reflex/MRO wonderfully. I have large hands, my wife's hand is considerably smaller, yet we both find this addition very positive, comfortable and controllable. Some may think they are "too much"- maybe they are for THEM and their hand size, but this did a far better job than the great Talon Grip decal I'd first installed on the Reflex (of whIch I'm a fan and user of their products). Easy to install if you know what your'e doing, and they stay put once they cool off and dry after installation.

I followed the instructions and it went on with a bit of a fight but not bad lubrication is key. Made the grip feel more comfortable to hold.and control.

This fit perfectly on my Hellcat. It's a very tight fit and a little difficult to put on as others have said. It is not something you'll be taking on and off frequently.

The Hellcat has a narrow and flat grip. I wear medium size gloves and the Hellcat grip seems pretty small for me still but then again, I like how flat it is that it doesnt print underneath my shirt. I was afraid that this grip sleeve would make it a lot thicker but was pleasantly surprised it didn't add too much bulk at all. It just added a bit of mass on the sides so that your palm actually touches the grip. And the finger groove also helps control recoil and muzzle rise. All these while still maintaining a very discreet profile. My Hellcat is more shootable now.

I’m not going to say anything bad about this product because I agree with some of the other reviews about how tight this thing fits. Maybe a little too snug, but you do want it that way. I only gave it 3 stars because when I was working it on it ripped. So I had to order another one. We will see how that one goes. Update.... Got the second one and managed to get it on after fighting with it for about 10 minutes or so. It sure takes a lot of effort to get it on but once its on, its on and not coming off or shifting on you. Over all opinion, the rubber feels nice in the hand and the grip is pretty decent as well, (way better then the cheap one I had on there at first). It feels good to hold and now there is only one thing left to do, go to the range and try it out.... Be patient when putting it on and I think you will like it.....

I read many of the other reviews prior to purchasing, and that gave me a good heads up regarding what was coming. I disregarded the advice in the installation booklet about cutting two plastic "shoehorns" from the package. It's absurd. Instead, I put a bowl of water in the microwave for 4 minutes. Took is out, got the water off, and when it was cool enough to handle I sprayed inside with Windex, and the grip with a decent amount of the same. I hooked the rear part (with the beavertail) over the bottom of the grip. Then I pulled the front part over and got it over the grip. Slipped up with the Windex as lubricant. Perfect fit. I'm sure it took less than a minute. Grip feels nice. It was too small for my hands, and the gun tended to rotate during shooting. Well worth the money. I love Hogue grips.
