EMSHOI Lined Journal Notebook, 204 Numbered Pages, B5 Size (7.5'' x 10'')

It is a good notebook. Binding is a sufficient sewn binding. It is well made with solid construction. The paper pages are nice and thick. There is a page at the back for you to test the ink of various pens. I tried the test page using some of my heavy duty pens. I used a Pilot Falcon flex pen and a TWSBI Diamond 580 with 1.1 mm stub nib pens. Both pens wrote very well on the paper, just a slight feedback which I found reassuring. Though the ink of the Falcon was flexed at times producing thick lines with extra ink and the TWSBI's 1.1mm stub nib pen put down a fair amount of ink there was no bleed-through at all and just a very slight ghosting which for me is very acceptable. I purchased several different sizes of notebooks from this company including some B5 soft cover and some B5 spiral notebooks. All are currently in use and I have no complaints so far.

i don’t often write reviews but i’ve used this journal for the past 8 months and it’s been amazing. the b5 size is great for getting everything you want on the page and being as creative as you want, and the paper is very sturdy and virtually nothing shows on the other side unless it’s very heavy ink, and even then it’s not going to ruin the look of your journal. i’ve glued on lots of extra things to the pages and they hold up well, and don’t make writing on the other side a hassle. the two bookmarks are a big help, the pages are all numbered (and 192 pages is plenty), the elastic helps keep everything together, and overall the journal is very sturdy; it has not been ruined or messed up even though i’m really not the most careful person. this one was dotted and allowed for very easy organization- the dots are visible from close up but from afar they are barely there (and don’t detract from your page). i’ve ordered another b5 journal from this company for when this one is finished, the brown college-ruled one, and I am excited to use it. i would recommend this journal to anyone who loves putting pen to paper- whether it’s art journaling, bullet journaling, or just using it as a notebook- and likes to have lots of space to get their ideas and creativity down while keeping the typical journal feel.

It's a beautiful, thick notebook at a great price. The cover feels wonderful--soft and smooth, and the paper is excellent quality. Highly recommend!

You should first know, I am a stationary freak. Pens, paper, notebooks, stamps, ink- you name it. I am picky when it comes to these things. I don't like spirals (the paper always ends up tearing out accidently and they are a pain to write with the the spiral binding getting in the way), composition books always fall apart and I can usually only find in wide-ruled (despise wide-ruled...) so I've been hunting for a notebook that has a binding that would allow the notebook to lay flat, was durable, had paper with that perfect thickness where the ink wouldn't run through, and simply looked nice. This notebook met all those expectations and more. This, is the BEST notebook I've bought in years. Haven't found anything close to it in stores. It's cover is soft leather and feels oh-so-good in your hands. The elastic it comes with is helpful in keeping it closed and it has TWO ribbon markers (which was a pleasant surprise), and the pages are all numbered and has a helpful table of contents (perfect for finding specific chapter notes in my language course I'm taking). I know most of that is in the description before you buy, but this notebook- you just don't understand how amazing it is until you have it in your hands, and you're sweeping your pen across its' pages. I look forward to class, just to take out my beautifully soft, leather notebook, and write on its' silky, college-lined pages...I NEED another one of these. I want one in every color they have. Doesn't matter that I don't have a need for more at the moment, I just want a stack to gaze at admirably when I'm sitting at my desk, or have it be the last thing I look at when I fall asleep. It's so perfect...

Exactly what I was looking for to start junk journaling. Great quality, flexible cover and pages are a perfect thickness.

This notebook is very nice quality with a faux leather cover and thick pages. It is the perfect size to throw in a bag or carry around. The pale blue color of the color is pretty and looks like the photos. The pages are numbered and there is a space to write the date. I especially like the table of contents area at the front, which helps me refer back to certain notes. The only weird thing I noticed is that it REALLY soaks up gel ink pens. I’m talking an entire pen in just 7 pages… it happened several times. The ink doesn’t show through on the other side though so maybe the paper just absorbs it? I was perplexed. When I switched to a regular rollerball pen it seemed normal. All in all, I would definitely recommend buying it. I will be buying more!

Quality product, perfect size, pages are thick and don’t bleed through. Will buy again!

I could not live without this journal. It is perfect for everything! It's sturdy, but pliable. It's large! It provides me the guidance and the flexibility that I need to vary the formatting when I am writing, and the pocket inside the back holds my set of felt pens amongst other things! It's a large pocket. The elastic band doesn't fail to keep it closed. I absolutely love it!

Estava procurando um caderno pontilhado para usar como journal e sketchbook, pesquisei muito antes de comprar e fiquei positivamente surpresa com esta marca! A qualidade do material e o acabamento são excelentes. Gosto especialmente da capa, que é macia, porém firme, protege e facilita o manuseio sem pesar tanto. As folhas são grossinhas (realmente parecem 100g) e possuem um grid pontilhado discreto (ótimo para não se sobrepor à arte). Meu maior receio era danificar durante a entrega, mas chegou em perfeito estado. Por ser um produto importado, o valor fica um pouco salgado, mas acredito que vai durar bastante.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the notebook. It doesn’t show on the pic but there’s a pen holder too. Will definitely repurchase. Only wish there was more colours offered where I am. Otherwise awesome :)

Quedé satisfecha con la compra. - La textura de la libreta es como de piel -El color es como se indica en la foto, un color amarillo mostaza - El gramaje de las hojas es muy bueno; yo uso un lapicero de gel y la tinta no sopresa el lado posterior. - El color de las hojas es un cremita muy tenue y bonito - En la primera hoja tiene un espacio muy funcional como para poner tu nombre, trae 3 páginas para un incide de contenido, sus hojas se encuentran enumeradas. OJO: En la publicación original dice que tiene 456 páginas, esto es incorrecto, la libreta tiene 204 páginas. Creo que esto si es muy importante mencionarlo. Fuera del número de páginas, creo que aún así es una muy buena elección para llevarla contigo a cualquier lugar, ya que su tamaño lo permite. Creo que sí la volvería a comprar nuevamente.

Apesar do valor elevado, é um produto de ótima qualidade e durabilidade. Só não dou 5 estrelas porque a caneta vazou no verso.
