Easy to install, works great so far.
I installed this for a customer. In the larger pool sizes, the price comparison to the more established pool brands makes it a no brainer. And it comes with a much longer warranty. I won't be managing it long term, but it was able to bring the chlorine level up on a fresh fill pool to about 2.0ppm over two days (45K gallons).

Easy installation, works great and excellent value
I ordered this to replace my old salt Chlorinator. It was well packaged with good instructions. I purchased during Prime days and it is an excellent value. My previous one was rated at 40k so I went for a higher rated one this time. I removed the old one and installed the new in about an hour even with replumbing since the cell on this one was longer. It is well made, works great and has more options than my previous. I especially like the salinity display and the output adjustment that is 5% increments. Very pleased so far. I did mount it in a vertical orientation due to space.

easy install, ok chlorine product for 50,000 gal pool
Doesn't quite put out enough chlorine for summer here in San Diego but was able to lower chlorine bill by a lot.

Excellent salt system, comprehensive display
This salt system replaces an IntelliChlor one. This one adds real information versus indicator lights, easy to see the plates to see condition. Installation was not to hard, however the mounting rings for the cell are different enough from the IntelliChlor that they had to be replaced with the ones that were included with it. Really liking this system, easy to use, easy to set chlorine levels, and then let it work automatically.

Impressive Product
Switched from chlorine to salt this spring. Was a simple DIY project. Initial impressions were very high on the quality of the system, materials and interface. Continued to be impressed by the power of system. My pool is only 33K and I installed the RJ60+ following the 1.5-2.0 size multiplier recommendation. As others have stated, began @ 75% and the chlorine shot up, so needed to back-off quickly. Ended up ~ 40%, which should make for a very long cell life. Great product, very happy with this purchase. I do hope that the "Remote" LED has something behind it (future), as it would be nice to have some simple automation control. BTW, these guys are very responsive on support!!

Installation is unnecessarily frustrating. Internal components are cheap. Disappointing.
The installation of this product was unnecessarily frustrating. I do a lot of DIY projects, and this one didn’t have to be this hard. Specifically: 1) the hanging bracket has an internal cutout to allow you to get to the screws, but the cutout is too small for a normal screwdriver to remain perpindicular with the screw head, and doing off-angle screw installation is a recipe for stripped screw threads. They could have just made the opening a little larger and this would be a non-issue. 2) There isn’t a 1/2 knockout sized hole for attaching flex conduit. Instead, they use a 3/8” knockout and a gland fitting for the attached power cord. Because of this arbitrary choice, you end up having to add a weatherproof junction box to adapt between conduit and the power cord. They could have used a 1/2” knockout hole for the cable gland and then installers would have the option to do it either way. During installation, I had to open the unit up to switch it over to 120VAC input. It’s clear that they cut corners compared to most SWG designs. Specifically, they use a laminated core transformer rather than the industry standard toroidal transformer. This is why the CircuPool requires an internal fan, since laminated core transformers are less efficient and generate more waste heat than a toroidal transformer. Also, they use passive rectification on the transformer output, which is also less efficient than the active rectification that is common on SWGs. It’s a bummer to buy a brand new product, spend a bunch of money on it, only to realize that it’s been put together using cheap parts. I’m hopeful that it will hold up to the test of time, but between the build quality and lack of attention to detail on the installation process, I’m dubious.
