This clary sage essential oil appears to be of good quality and fresh. It has a soft, earthly and herbaceous scent with a subtle, sweet floral note to it. It is wonderful for clarity and relaxation. It works well in my ultrasonic diffuser and creates a wonderful, calming environment in the room. This comes in an amber glass bottle with a cellophane-wrapped cap, and bundled together with a glass dropper cap (bubble-wrapped) in an eco-friendly box. The oil is sourced from Ukraine and bottled in the USA. The botanical name is Salvia sclarea. The method of extraction isn't specified though. Overall, I'm pleased with this essential oil. It seems pure and smells wonderful. I'm using it for aromatherapy and it works great for that. The price is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity. Good shelf life too as mine expires on 4/15/2025. Recommended.

I put a drop of this in a squirt of squalene oil and apply it to the bottoms of my feet. I had never smelled clary sage before, and although this scent is quite calming, I believe it to be an acquired scent. It is very effective in helping me to fall asleep and to stay asleep. The only downside I would mention is that using it often makes me break out on my face. I have read clary sage does affect the hormones, so I am sure this is the reason behind it. Really like it though.

You can mix it with a carrier oil and use as a massage oil to help with labor, menstrual pain, balance hormones, blood pressure and circulation, skin infections, wounds, insomnia, and so many more. I prefer something with a great aroma and the smell of this oil was strong and nauseating to me.

Has a light smell that goes away easily but isn’t strong at all. It isn’t watery and feels like good quality oil. Serves its intended purpose and plenty of oil for what you’d pay.

This essential oil smells true and fresh, packaged in an amber glass bottle with a cap, inside a cardboard box. The dropper, also inside the box, is separate from the bottle and wrapped in plastic.
