For years I used only wifi to link laptop & printer. Sometimes did not work, usually did.New lodger advised me to try direct cable link (this one) and got one long enough to reach anywhere in room with printer in.Set wired connection as default, to use wi-fi instead just change one selection on printer dialogue.Amazing - fast, 100% works, no issues at all.Cable is protected by metal woven cover, all connections to plugs seem durable.Inexpensive for benefits.Now have best of both worlds!

Good for my use case.
Using this to connect a PC to a DAC/Pre amp that is not very close to the PC. Works well and sound is good so happy.
