Universal Tablet Tripod Mount Holder for Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Google Nexus, iPhone - Black

This tablet holder can literally be attached to anything as long as you have a 1/4 thread. 99% of all tripods have a 1/4 thread. I find this to be the best option over buying tablet holders that comes with the holder and stand/tripod since they tend to be one full unit that you cannot take apart. The problem with that is if the stand/tripod leg or tablet holder break, you have to then buy an entirely new unit - holder AND stand. The best part about this holder is (a) cheap, (b) very sturdy, and (c), when I transition from work to home/bed, all I do is keep my tablet in the tablet holder and just screw it into my next 1/4 thread device - if that be next to my laptop or the one attached to my bed.

This turned out to be as hoped. I just got a new Kindle 8th gen and a cover. I was straining to hold the Kindle, cramping in hand intrinsic muscles. So I got this tablet holder. There is a locking knob on the reverse that allows lengthening and shortening in the long axis. I can lock it onto the Kindle in its cover and much more comfortably hold it. I thought at first I would screw a handle into tablet holder device, as it is made to go onto a tripod. I might still do that eventually.Edit 10 July 2017: I purchased a Manfrotto mini tripod which works perfectly. I was still straining to hold the Kindle despite this tablet holder. The Manfrotto is the perfect diameter with legs closed to act as a wand, and with legs open, as a perfect book holder on the table or desk.

Use this for our church, since we can't meet we use a facebook live to share. I was spoiled by Amazon 1 day delivery so was disappointed in over 2 weeks delivery of this so I could use it. It works great!

I have 2 of these. It works great to attach an iPad onto a camera tripod for work-from-home zoom video conferences. It allows me to look level into the screen/camera instead of hunching over to look down onto the screen.

I bought this adapter to use with my iPad mini 4. First off, I had to remove the iPad from its cover to fit it in the clips- not a problem. Then noticed, it will only hold iPad in landscape, not portrait orientation (maximum vertical grip is 7.45” while long distance of iPad is 8.0”)- not great, nor as versatile, but usable. The screw hole does fit my existing tripod, but there is no tilt capability to this adapter, so the tripod must make all of the adjustments in 3 directions (pivot, tip, & tilt)- also not impossible, but as I am using a tripod that only has 1-D tilt, I have to adjust leg length to get the necessary adjustments in the other 2 directions. It feels as if the screw hole could be easily stripped, so I will handle this gently. The lock for the vertical clamps seems secure now, no telling for how long. Time will tell how durable this adapter bracket is.

This is an excellent product. Well made and fits my 10" tablet. I mounted it on my Ranger dash with bolt with threads to match. Can go live with maps and GPS in the back country. Still good for my tripod.

I needed this for work and was expecting it to fit Ipad mini 2. Very disappointed, it didn't slide all the way and if you keep going, screen might crack. Not worth it for ipad mini 2 horizontal.
