## Description

The POLYWOOD Classic Adirondack Chair (AD4030) is a comfortable, stylish deck chair made from solid, heavy-duty, marine-grade quality POLYWOOD lumber. Made to mimic the appearance of painted natural wood, this weather-resistant chair is an excellent addition to any outdoor living space, either as a single chair in a secluded reading nook, or in groups on a deck or next to a swimming pool. With a wide 30-inch seat, the Classic Adirondack Chair offers the roomy, comfortable seating you expect from an Adirondack chair. UV-resistant pigment runs throughout POLYWOOD lumber, so the chair’s color does not fade when exposed to the elements. Maintenance is easy, with no need to paint, stain, or waterproof your chair. Review: Easy to assemble, but needs a tweak - The seat and back come fully assembled. You just have to attach the front legs and the armrests. Those connect the seat to the back. It's got some small amount of flex, but is very sturdy. All the hardware and predrilled holes were there and it went together easily. It comes with a 4mm T handle for the screws, but you will need a 7/16" wrench or ratchet. My only complaint is the angle of the seat. It's too upright and doesn't settle you back against the backrest. It kinda leaves you teetering between leaning forward and back. That makes it easier to get out of, but reduces comfort. The front legs need to be an 1 to 1.25" longer to tilt the entire seat further back. I put a couple pieces of 1.5" lumber under the front and it was a bit too much. Edit: I made some 1.25" stilts for the front legs and that made it better. I'll also be looking for some outdoor cushions.

Polywood is a fine company, easy to assemble, and it'll last forever. However, the design of this chair is horrible. The back is far too short for people of average height. There is no relaxing and leaning your head back in this chair; the top of the chair will be driven into the base of your skull. I'll keep them around for others but this will not be used by me and I will buy another model or brand.
