Daydream Journals another beautiful book soft paperback large size
Another beauty from this author. I have all of her books, very sweet lovely pictures, delicate hand sewing or machine you pick, lots of photos they are larger photos for observing these beautiful stitches and more. Believe about 8.5 x 11 in size glossy pages softcover book. Nice stories and also how to do stitches. The print is black on white pages for easy reading. Inspiration on where and how to begin as well. Well thought out book.Another book for my collection on journals and more. Tilly Rose, cannot wait for another beauty from you!

Excellent
This book doesn't show you how to bind pages together for a "book" of whatever sort, but it does give lots of inspiration for making covers and just being free and personal with your own journals. However, if you do know book binding, this is perfect for that as well.I got really inspired and embroidered my own cover and bound together some acrylic paper and made a crazy sketchbook. I bound the pages with embroidery floss and made the spine a complete weave! :)I love this book. Its helped me take my book binding to the next level.

Such a beautiful book!
Just what I needed!! It is a beautiful book, well written with wonderful ideas and lots of inspirational stories and photographs in how to make it your own! I highly recommend it if you are a fan of textiles and crafts of all sorts! It is perfect for Victorian era inspiration and she even teach you how to naturally dye your fabrics and how to build the book cover, and the inside with paper or cloths.

Get your needles and cloth out!
Simply stated, I love this book. While I haven't started my own journal yet, I have read and re-read the book a couple of times. It just makes me want to pick up thread and cloth and stitch.

Love the book!
What can I say? Tilly Rose is fantastic with needle and thread. I loved her book "Stitched Memories" which a friend gave me, so I knew I would love "Daydream Journals" also. I was not wrong. Covered with great photos and illustrations on every page. Instructions are great. But beware, she never lets you forget she is a Fen gal, ha!

Journal Inspiration - yes. How to in cloth - not so much
This is the second book I have read/purchased by Tilly Rose for cloth diary/journal know-how. There is inspiration and plenty of ideas in this book - however, I was looking for more fabric book construction instructions and there was only a needle book made all of fabric. Other journal covers were of covers to paper journals. Not quite, what I was looking for.
