I spent many hours looking for a vest that was going to be heavy enough without looking like I was going to war. Eventually opting for the 8kg version. I am really happy with it. It's definitely heavy to lift and put on, but once on is relatively comfortable and even when bending over it doesn't alter my balance too much. It raises my heart rate by about 10-15 bpm when walking which is what I wanted as after losing weight I am finding it much harder to make my dog walks a bit more intense. I haven't tried running with it yet. I have walked several miles without discomfort. I am a middle aged woman with a fairly large skeleton and found the straps fitted quite well.

Tightens well, no movement or chaffing when running. Variable weight to cater for different distances or effort Happy with this purchase.

I've looked at all the weighted vests here and elsewhere. When I spotted one where you could adjust the weight I purchased this immediately. A couple of important things to note: Does it work? - yes for calisthenics and could be used for running with most of the weight removed. It is snug without much movement. Can you change the weights easily? - yes, very easy to switch Does it fall apart? - no, not as yet but I'm being careful with it and not using it for running which is where I think these types of products suffer. It survived a wash in the washing machine. Will it fit a women? - I think it depends on your size but it is an average male fit so perhaps not for petite frames. Does it smell? - YES.. but here is the rub. The product really smells. I believe it is the iron sand. After the first use my mouth had a metallic taste which suggests dust is leaving the weights/vest and travelling into my lungs during exercise (I am not a doctor so cannot confirm risks and probably minimal but I'm not risking it). The Fix? - Rather than report the OPSS or return I removed the weights, washed the vest (not weights) in Wool cycle, placed each weight in a plastic bag and then taped with packing/cloth tape to seal (see pic) Now no problems with smell or dust so health risk gone (I hope). Buy? - Would you buy a product like this if you have to fix it? Surprisingly I'd say yes - this is probably the best one on Amazon at this price and for a few pence you can overcome the issue, hence why I gave it 4 stars despite the issue.

I bought this vest to replace another one where I was having issues with it being too wide on the shoulders and where I couldn’t remove weights at the front - I found as a woman with a larger chest you need to have more weight on the back or you feel unbalanced. I therefore took two weights out at the front. It’s good to add for most workouts really to make them a bit harder, I’ve not used for running though - just weights and body weight exercises. Ideally I’d have had it a bit heavier but the fit on this is much better for a woman and adjustable as well to make it a snug fit. Good value for money.

This vest does not offer "a secure fit, making it ideal for all body types". I have a small frame (size 8) and even with the straps done up to the tightest level, the vest rides up while walking and the upper chest strap ends up around my neck, strangling me, so I have to leave it undone and dangling. Making one product for both men and women and sizing according to weights rather than body frame simply doesn't work. I'm now having to abandon it and buy a new one.

This vest fits really well and I purchased two others so I could compare a range. It is comfortable over the shoulders and doesn’t move much when exercising, plus has sturdy feeling buckles for adjusting. Quality seems really good especially for the price paid and compared to some of the others tried is far more comfy to workout in and just generally constructed. A small comment is it actually weighed slightly lighter than the 8kg advertised. Not much but still, the other two tested were exact on that front. My only question is how long it might last from all the sweat!! The inside fabric naturally gets rather sweaty so I hope that is something that has been considered in terms of longevity. I clean mine with a damp cloth and soap but still, wasn’t something I thought about initially. Get this, it’s great!

I got this to add a little more resistance to my cardio. It is very good quality. Fits snug to body and I can run with it. No discomfort rubbing or irritation. Highly recommend 👌

The straps are far too small and does not do up, after several attempts to return (faulty QR code) speaking to Amazon still no joy in getting a printable return label. In my opinion not fit for purpose

Pour pompes, tractions, squatts libres. S'enfile vite et facilement. Semble solide mais j ai quand même enveloppé les poids dans des sacs en plastique entouré de ruban adhésif au cas où le contenu des poidS(GRANULES) coule en dehors des enveloppes.
