Anyway, this rack is tall enough and the uprights are wide enough to prevent the bikes from falling - aside from someone literally shoving the bike sideways full force! This can be adjusted for any width tire. I feel the uprights are a little flexy by design (not a big deal). A solution is to take a string, shoelace, or 1 or two wire ties and loosely join the tops of the uprights. This limits side to side movements and prevents excess spreading. NOT TOO TIGHT THOUGH! You want the stand snuggish against the outsides of the tires and they need to move a little. This is my go to, under $40 bike stand from now on. Easy (3 minutes) to assemble with a #2 Phillips and hands. Adjust and done. I ended up leaving the gap tight and it held the bikes that much more stable. I ride XL bikes and these stands do great. The adjustability is perfect If you have bikes with different width tires. The only downside is the thumb screws that hold it together.... They don't hold well enough. I replaced them with bolts.
