Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.38mm Oil-based Ballpoint Pen, Black Red Body (SXN100338BK15)

I wanted a more unique and higher end pen. This one very much piqued my interest. Design and color wise. So far, it writes very well. With my style of writing a finer tip helps me keep more legible. It is possible they have fixed past issues. Mine writes smoothly and consistently. The body is mostly plastic with a metal grip and clip. I find it comfortable and fashionable. The grip focuses the weight of the pen towards the tip. Unfortunately, mine fell out of my pocket and hit the blacktop. It survived well and has unnoticeable scars. I was not using the clip at the time. Just in my front pocket and snagged by my keys. It's a tad longer than other pens I own. The only negative I could have is with switching out the ink cartridge. It's held in there rather firmly.

I love this pen, it looks nice and it feels nice and solid. It's not as fine as the .28, but I prefer the slightly thicker line for regular writing.

If you love a super fine point pen as much as I do, THIS is for you!!! It is very smooth, doesn’t smear and has a click top so there’s no top to pull off and possibly lose. I highly recommend this pen, and will definitely be buying more of these.

I really wanted to like this pen and use it for as many things as possible, but the ink unfortunately skips quite frequently. The barrel is great, the width of the grip is comfortable, and it is stylish. But it is inconsistent with the one thing that I need it for - to write quickly and legibly in my planner! The ink and/ or refill used here is NOT the same as the retractable Jetstream with the plastic body of the same 0.38 line thickness. I have both and this one feels toothier for some reason. The plastic retractable version also does not have the same issue with the ink skipping on the page. For some reason, this issue does not happen on other paper. I'm just a bit sad that I can't use this pen in the place I write the most!

If you like a more techno looking ergo pen with Pilot Jetstream ink, the Edge is a good option. A few things to consider: (1) the refill is neither the Parker G2 nor the Pilot G2-ish version used in the Prime, so now I need to buy 3 different Jetstream refills. (2) The looks are polarizing--you'll either love it or hate it. (3) It isn't metal, so it is a very light pen. If you like a heavy pen this isn't for you. Plus, I am not sure how it will last long-term or how it will look. (4) The 0.38 is pretty fine, but it writes more smoothly than I anticipated. (5) Decent click/knock mechanism--not a Jotter, mind you, but not bad at all

I am a bit of a pen junkie I must admit! I am always looking for the next best pen I can find but idk if I will find a better one than this! I very much prefer very fine point gel pens, I’m not a big fan on larger point pens and if I am writing just for fun or journaling I don’t like to use anyone over 0.5 tip so this one I had a feeling I was going to enjoy it, but I never thought I could love a pen so much! I love my writing with it, it makes my penmanship more legible and beautiful! I did not have any issues with the ink skipping on me as others said they had in their reviews. The only thing I am sad about is how quickly the ink ran out but to be fair I used this pen ALOT! actually even more than ALOT! So I will absolutely be ordering refills and also want to try out the .28 uni jet steam pen as well! I would recommend this pen to everyone I can!

The pen is nice but the grip is so slick that my fingers can’t grab it well enough and it affects my handwriting. The 0.38 is the perfect size but the grip is not working for me

Love this pen. The only one I like to write with very fine point that does not run like gel it lets it be very controlled the only pin I can write with good penmanship. Very smooth and easily grilled. Comfortable.
