Great glue traps, definitely like the size
These glue traps work really well and I like that they’re family and pet-safe. Super easy to set up—just place them and you’re good to go. They’ve been effective for catching small pests without any mess or hassle. Definitely a simple, reliable option to have around the house.

BEST SQUIRREL CATCHER EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t waste your $!
We hv a pair of super intelligent squirrels destroying our attic. Sorry but they are definitely RODENTS which isn’t bothered with tons of garlicky granules, pepperminty mothballs or pepperminty sprays. I used so much of the stuff above our bed just to be able to sleep but BOY the smell travels down thru the ceiling n walls. They all say they’ll lose the odor after a few month so I was desperately using them. EARPLUGS do not work bc I’m am sensitive to any noise, light or feeling. 😖😣😩 I even am using my Google speakers with “Sounds that Squirrels Hate” on Spotify. First they chewed up the electrical wire belonging to the speaker, UGH! So I put the speaker w/new wire in the Havahart (sized for raccoons) at the very back of the cage w/its wire under the cage n leading out under the plywood I use to walk above the joists. THEY ARE SMART! They left it alone. They know after a while, for some reason unknown, the irritating noise stops. I am using an old iPhone on wifi for the LOUD repeating noise. I bought this jumbo 6 pack and the smaller rectangular size. They use the eaves as their passage. They hv chewed many holes along the way trying to open up new entrances. They’ve even chewed electrical wiring which were in their way. The insulation needs to be replaced in many areas, UGH! All of the sticky traps except a pair were very easy to pull apart. The pair that was stuck together took effort to pull apart. Ease of use PERFECTION otherwise. For us humans (even for curious kids) albeit they look simple, I believe they are safe n not life threatening to us. As for the RODENTS, after spending $500+ before these sticky traps, these are THE BEST SOLUTION. Big attic area, I’ll hv to spend thousands on new insulation n vented eave material as well as joists baffling that hold back the blown in insulation from falling onto the eave. If u come across my review b4 buying anything else, CONGRATULATIONS on learning what to get n what not to waste your hard earned money on. These squirrels chewed ALL our GREEN peaches even tho wrapped hanging! They bit into my neighbor’s pears n dropped them as well. When they first attacked the fruits in the early summer, I wish I had acted then bc they learnt food source is plentiful here. Neighbor’s huge oaks as well! I never want to live near oaks again! I definitely hear one rt now frantically trying to free itself n the other might be dragging a trap behind the stuck one going back n forth in the eave alleyway. ☠️💀👻! At first we called many wildlife removal services but none of them returned our calls. They must be super busy n not enough of they kind of company around. Tho, they must charge thousands $$$$ for constant labor n costly materials. Save yourself $$$$ n try these Catchmaster sticky traps, especially the jumbo!!!!!

Caught a pesky rat within 12 hours!
My father was pretty sure he had a rat in his 8'x8' walk-in closet. The evidence was regular droppings found on the floor and that it started eating through one corner of the carpet, including the padding and wood under it. At first, he thought it was a mouse, but it had easily set off and escaped from about 6 of them over the course of a few days. I decided to get him these glue traps as another option based on the high rating combined with thousands of reviews. He received the traps around 11 AM today, set up 4 of them in the closet, locked the closet door, and waited. When he checked the closet at 9:30 PM, the rat was struggling to get out of the trap, but it was futile. I won't go into the details of how he killed the rat (but you should realize that this trap doesn't do that for you), but he did get some measure of revenge for the damage caused by this creature. These traps are easy to set up and use, plus they are safe to have inside the home. However, you have to keep in mind that there is a very strong adhesive on these traps, so just about anything coming in contact with them will get stuck. My father learned this the hard way, when a hand towel happened to fall on one of the traps. He was eventually able to remove it, but a good amount of the towel stayed stuck to the trap. The 6-pack of traps we got cost $16. For how easy it was to set up, plus how well and how quickly it worked, I'd say it's a great value. Please note, however, that once a rat (or towel, for that matter) gets caught in one of these traps, I can't see a way for that trap to be reused. At the relatively low cost of these traps, that's a tradeoff I'm willing to live with, though.

It works well for mice.,
I'm battling a plague of mice. These mice attracted snakes. The snakes follow the mice into the house, and there they are, in my kitchen. Please don't tell me how good innocent little snakes are. I am terrified of them. Right now I am doing battle with a 4-foot King snake. He's hunting mice. I'm hunting him. Mice are smart little devils. If you let them, they will destroy your house. Down through the years I have employed humane snap traps, and cats. Cats are the best as long as they are strictly indoor adventurers. I am between cats right now, and must resort to my own devices. Mice will avoid snap traps fairly quickly. I have had some success with green pellet poisons, but it takes awhile. Ultrasonics are not working for the mice. I am desperate because of the snake, so I have decided glue traps will help me solve my problems. Not the happy choice, but it's me or them. I chose this glue trap because it says it can catch snakes too. They are a decent size. They are two to a pack. They come folded over with the glue facing inward. There is a small plastic hinge which has always broken, but that's okay with me. Once you open the box, you have to place two traps or set up a sandwhich board style along your baseboards. They are easy to pry apart. They have little projections to keep them reasonably apart. The glue is very strong. I accidentally rolled an empty, large vitamin bottle onto the first one, and it wasn't going to come off, period. I had to leave it attached. There is not much of a glue free edge to them, so handle carefully. The first night I caught a full grown mouse. It was an awful experience. He couldn't get free. He already lived his best life in my kitchen. But, the next night, nothing. The mouse telegraph went around, and all the traps were avoided. I saw with my own eyes a mouse crawl upside down, like Tarzan, under the lip of the drainboard, in order to avoid walking on the trap. That's how smart they are. So, I had to bait my traps with some of the little green poison pellets, which mice love. Third night I caught two small mice on one trap. The next day, the snake came out. He didn't seem to notice those two mice, but went over to inspect the first mouse trap. He got caught in the glue. I admit that I was pleased as heck, what an enormous weight off my back, having caught that snake. The snake thrashed and tried to flee. Because this trap was up on my center island, he fell onto the floor behind a box. Not to worry. I didn't even look. I figured I would deal with it when the snake was tired. Well, do I have to tell you? Not only did the snake get loose, but it showed up crawling towards me. What a nightmare. I opened a larger, different brand of glue trap, just to see if it would hold the snake, if I ever catch it again. That trap just seems bigger, without any particular extra strength to the glue. I plan to mix up the brands of glue traps and just keep them deployed. So, I think that this brand of glue trap is fine for mice. I plan to bait mine, even though it says you don't have to do that. It is not strong enough to hold a young, healthy King snake, and probably not a garden snake. Maybe little, tiny brand new snakes, but not full grown ones, and certainly not the kind you see pictured on the box. Still, I feel safer with my ring of traps, and that counts for something. I would buy again.

The effectiveness alone is worth every penny, buy a bulk of these
I rarely ever EVER write reviews, but I was so incredibly impressed by these traps I have to. Here's my situation. Been dealing with annoying rats for past few months. Tried the flat glue traps, the snap traps, the poison bait, you name it. Nothing worked and it just kept getting worse. Even had pros come out and set their own traps. No luck. I must have had smarter rats cause they would kick up dirt and dust on the flat traps and they would ruin the adhesion. I got these just as a gamble. I figured the lip around the edge would help not getting debris on the pad as well as the super sticky gel they use. These rats have been getting into our dog treats and eating them like candy. I put them in a plastic container, and I used the dog treats as bait seeing as they clearly like them. As of writing this review I've caught 3 rats in one day. IN THE SAME SPOT TOO!!!! Thats a huge huge record and milestone for me because I previously had no luck at all. Yes these are pricey, but I promise you they are worth every penny. Don't get the flat traps, get these, they work fantastically. They're easy to set up, easy to clean and replace a trap in, and they're safe. I recommend getting a ton of these and using another pad to "sandwich" the rat just so you know for sure they won't escape. These work SO well you are not going to be disappointed.

Most effective way to get rid of rats and mice, with some caveats
There is a reason why professional exterminators use this and don't bother with "snap traps" - they flat out work. But there are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you get maximum effectiveness: 1. You must know the path that the critters are taking. Just spend some time getting inside the head of your vermin - they have a nest somewhere and they travel back and forth to food and water sources. They will usually travel against walls and along the tops of roof joists. If you find holes in walls, you will often see a dirty smudge where their filthy little tails drag along behind them. You will also see droppings (they seem to poop constantly). Place these traps in the high traffic areas, arranging them so that they are butted against walls, and along the trails they follow (think of the way ants travel in a line - rats and mice kind of do the same thing). 2. Don't bother with bait - if you follow the instructions in #1 above you don't need bait. I have never baited these things and I have caught a LOT of rats (my wife feeds birds in our yard and the seed attracts rats). 3. Do NOT use these outside or anywhere your pets or children can come in contact with them. If you put them outside, you will inevitably end up with a bird stuck to it, and unless you are a cold-hearted killer, you will feel awful. When I have to use them outside (like along the pathways the rats use to visit the bird feeders) I cover them with a long pice of plywood propped against the wall to create a "tunnel" and try to make it much more difficult for anything other than a rat or mouse to get stuck. Also, curious house cats will OFTEN get stuck in these, especially if there is a mouse or rat thrashing around on it and squeaking. Let me tell you that it is NO fun trying to pull one of these off your cat's face while there is a live rat stuck to it (or a toddler's shoe!). Also not covering them, you'll end up with a lot of leaf litter on them, which hinders their effectiveness. 4. Don't use these if you can't handle the sight of a dead (or dying) rat or mouse. Be prepared to "dispatch" the animal humanely once they are trapped. These traps do not cause instant death (the way snap traps do). The animal will eventually die (often from suffocation or shock) but the most humane thing to do is to kill them once you hear the squeaking and thrashing around. Speaking of which, it is fairly common (especially for a larger rat) to become partially stuck on one of these traps. I had a big wood rat get his back end stuck on one in my attic one night, and he flipped out, thrashing around and dragging it all over the place until I was able to crawl up there and "take him out". Outside, I usually use a shovel to decapitate them quickly when they get stuck. In the attic, I will usually use a very sharp hunting knife or a pair of lopping shears to decapitate them. (Did I mention this is not for squeamish people?). On a side note, don't leave these in the attic too long without checking them. Trust me, if you wait until you smell something funny, you are going to have a very unpleasant situation to deal with. 5. Make sure you wear rubber/latex/nitrile gloves while disposing of these once you have a dead mouse/rat. The reason is twofold: first, they are filthy disease-ridden creatures and they tend to poop and pee all over when they die, and you don't want contact with that. Secondly, if you accidentally get stuck to the trap while retrieving it, you can slip off a glove easily. If you're bare skin gets stuck (and these things are STICKY!) you will have a real mess do deal with.

Think about the endgame on this one
I like fees they’re pretty pricey, but they’re mostly effective. Unfortunately they trapped everything even stuff. I felt bad about trapping and had no intention of trapping. I understand those with moral concerns, but if you have a health hazard in your dwelling space you gotta make tough choices. Maybe they’re more humane ways, but this was effective. It did the job, but it also left me with a big problem once I caught something that was too big and I was unprepared to dispatch. I use the word dispatch meaning terminate maybe I should’ve just use the word terminate to begin with because if you use these, you better be prepared to become the terminator because what of these little sweet creatures don’t actually die. What if they just get caught and make squeaky noises for days and days I am a novice I didn’t know anything as a first time homeowner. I called an exterminator and they left us with these paper glue traps which were mostly useless. I bought these a few times but the last time I was kind of disappointed because they were all stuck together and I couldn’t get them apart and that’s a sticky disappointment

Great
This was really good

best for house mice imo
these are the only traps that work for me in my rural country home, you can catch multiple mice if you remove the caught ones, and just put it back out, even used traps can collect many mice i've found

Traps simply don’t work
It’s just bad quality item, it’s not working in the way it should. I placed the trap and put the bite, rat left couple of clear mark of its paws and tail without being captured :-(
