Lots of Compliments!
This is for the zebra/leopard boot, but regardless of what Nomad boot you buy they are sure to be noticed. It should be noted that the zebra/leopard boots are not "mirror images" in that the design on the right and left boots are exactly alike. The stripe portion is on the left side of the shoe (outside of the left, on inside of the right); the spotted portion is on the right side of the shoe (inside of the left, outside on the right). Hope you get what I mean. If someone is looking at your left side, they'll see all zebra stripe on your feet with spots up the calf; if they look at your right side, they'll see leopard spots on your heels and up your calf and part of the zebra design on the toes. You are viewing a left shoe in this product description. They work well in the rain and keep feet dry and are generally waterproof under normal circumstances. They are not waders, however, and you don't want to wear them fly fishing or wading in an icy stream. If you want to wear thicker socks with the boots, stay with your regular size. Size down one size if you want the boot to fit snugly on the foot with a thinner sock. If it's rainy and cold, it may be a plus to be able to pair with thicker socks as there is no other insulation and if the shoes are to be worn out in the elements for an extended period, you will want warmth, and your regular size should easily accommodate a thicker sock, as these seem to "run big."Please note that wide width sizes may want to avoid this boot due to the pointed toe design. Best for medium width wearers. Sizing up will not accommodate wide widths; the toe will still be too narrow.Comes with a removable liner. You can remove and insert your own. It's probably better to have either the liner and/or thick socks because there isn't anything else besides the rubber sole between your foot and the ground. Again, there's no insulation, only rubber. So while you may stay dry, you might not be warm, so the thick sock option comes into play. Did not have any issues with the boots being too tight around the leg/calves and was able to tuck in pants with no problem. It is better to take the measurements and determine if they will fit you, however.Easy to walk in and not bulky; they can be worn during on a commute to work (walking, parking, train, bus, etc.) and into the office without changing into other shoes (depending on the rigidity of your workplace dress code) because they are fun and stylish. People are surprised when you tell them that they're rubber. Of course, there is no way they could ever be mistaken for real cowboy boots, but they're stylish enough not to look like gardening galoshes or hip waders.Put them away clean, wash off any mud or debris before long-term storage, inspect periodically to be sure the rubber is supple and not dried out or cracked. Not sure how long they will last, but past experience with rubber and rubber-soled shoes pegs it at a lifetime of ten years or so. Hopefully these rain boots will be durable for several seasons.

Run very small
My shoe size is a 9; however, I order a size 10 because I don’t like returning things. I can’t ware them because they are too small

Awesome but typically calf-tight
These are by far the best rain shoes ever. I mean I've never tried to get them wet or muddy or anything and technically they don't fit my calves, but still the best rain shoes ever.Point 1: They are cowboy boot rain shoes. That makes them immensely sexy and amazing because as everyone knows, cowboy boots are what makes cowboys sexy. Not the jeans. Well, maybe the jeans. And the hat. Anyway, cowboy boots are part of the sexy trifecta of cowboy sexiness.Point 2: They have a toile pattern. Beige and green toile pattern. These take the sexiness of cowboy boots and adds a sense of humor, since the whole point of these boots is to get ankle deep in mud without getting my toes wet, so having them be all fancy and french toile frou-frou makes them ironic.Sexy Ironic Rain Boots. The only thing wrong with them, of course is that the calf area are made for 12 year old girls' calves. I mean, seriously, who are these calfless freaks that they make boots for? I mean I figured that these are basically stylized wellies and cowboy boots and I can think of no more wonderful calf allowance the love child of wellies and cowboy boots, but NO SUCH LUCK.I have solved the problem by rolling the tops down. This makes it so that I cannot go mid-calf deep in mud, but I would probably not want to do that anyway. I might get my dresses dirty.Because cowboy rain boots will go best with dresses. And mud.So 7 stars for toile cowboy boot rain shoes 1 star for assuming I don't use my calf muscles. For an average of 4 stars. If you are a calfless freak, you'll probably love these almost as much as cowboys.

Best rain boots ever
This is the second pair I’ve had, I absolutely love these boots! They’re rubber, so they will wear out, the boot will separate from the sole eventually, which is what happened to my last pair. I considered it normal wear and tear, not a defect. I get so many compliments on these, they’re really cute and really fun, definitely recommend

My 2 cents...
I read the reviews closely here and decided to take a chance. Here's my 2 cents worth...1) Some pictures show the colors a bit brighter than they are in person... at least on my laptop. Anyway the colors are more fall like and not bright green or orange.2) I ordered one size up to a 9... and they fit perfectly. My foot is of average width. The shaft is for an average size leg. Occasionally I have a problem with a boot shaft, although I think my calf is about average. I had no problems with these boots fitting. They aren't a real tall boot so that may make for an easier fit. You should absolutely order 1 size larger than your normal size or the point will pinch your foot.3) Comfort... I'm a hairstylist and so stand and walk around all day. I've worn them to work a couple of times. My feet were a little tired at the end of the day, but no blisters. So I would say they aren't really meant for standing or walking all day. But I certainly wouldn't call them uncomfortable.4) I wondered if my feet would sweat in a rain boot. Not a bit. I wore a pair of medium weight 100% cotton socks with them and my feet are warm but don't sweat. The boots have a nice built in lining. They definitely aren't made for cold weather.So... I really love these boots. They're different, fun and stylish.

a bit tight
It fits, but my foot does feel super closed in. It's a tighter fit. The actual book itself looks exactly like the picture though.

Great buy at a very good price!
Very comfortable, fit perfectly, light-weight and cheerful. Got these as replacement of my older boots, and these are way more comfortable than my old ones. Make people around me smile even during morning commute to work. Great buy, good price, very glad I got them!
