These things are solid. It’s hard to describe how sturdy they feel and they are definitely heavy. I will be using them in an upcoming project so I will update my review if I run into any issues with them.

Seems like a high-quality product. Can’t wait to use the roller. One thing I noticed was it was a little heavy, but we are perfect for the job.

This is a great product which I am using for a whole different purpose. No leather for me! I love making handmade cards using metal cutting dies called by various names—- Cut, Fold, Tuck dies —- or Geo dies —- or Interlace dies. The die cuts all have to be flattened for which crafters often use a “bone folder” or some type of plastic roller. I purchased this roller because it’s heavy, making it more effective at flattening, and wider, so I can make fewer passes. It’s very well made, rolls smoothly and the handle is comfortable. The roller end is heavy but that’s not a problem since it doesn’t need to be picked up. You just pick up the handle and the heavy roller stays on your table, and you just start rolling to your heart’s content. Highly recommended!

Minor squeaking from the small one but they are very well built and heavier than you would think. Perfect for leather work .

If you're looking for a smooth surface be sure to check the roller for nicks and burrs before first use. I used a fine file and 1500 grit sandpaper to remove some one edge and several on the surface of the roller. Otherwise, it works fine.
