AudioControl THE EPICENTER Black Bass Restoration Processor

The difference this thing makes is no joke. Be prepared to be amazed when you add this to your system. I'm working with what you would call a cheap set up nothing really fancy but this thing makes it sound and feel like I've got thousands of dollars worth of equipment in my trunk. Well done audio control! I can't wait to try more of your products down the road!

This amazing device provides exactly what people are in search of when they talk about finding 'the right sound.' And so people buy or upgrade amplifiers, subwoofers, equalizers, (I'm guilty), hoping to get the sound they really want. It's a constant search to find the right sound that this device provides. It truly maximizes the potential and power of one's existing subwoofer, the under-seat sub that I have now puts out massive clean bass felt in the bones. I'm so glad for the review from the audiophile. I am a huge AudioControl fan now as The EPICENTER is magical, really.

This device does what it says it does. You can of course over do it. You do not need to turn the knob all the way up in order to feel like you are getting your moneys worth. You can leave it low. I never turn the knob above 50%. This device does a FANTASTIC job of recreating bass in tracks that do not have it. I was extremely skeptical. I thought that there is no way that they could just realtime add bass and it would sound nice. I thought that there would be timing issues or some detectable disgusting artificial quality to the audio that it was generating. I was wrong. I decided to get this thing due to the overwhelming support I see in the build community for car audio. When I was installing this my wife was completely convinced that I was an idiot, and I was not sure myself. She said. "So its just gonna add more bass" and "why does everything need to be all WHAAMP WHAAAMP?" etc. Following the install I handed my wife the remote, explained that is was NOT a volume knob, and we drove around and played all of her music while she adjusted the knob to her liking. My wife now wants one of these in her car, and in the house. It brings every song that was mastered terribly in the 50s 60s 70s 80s and even Now into the full spectrum for playback on the system that you've invested so much in. It completely changes your relationship with music that you've known so well over the years. This product is ridiculous, I love it, it works, It sounds great, and it 180'd my wife from hating the idea to absolutely loving it due to what it does to her music. (My wife HATES/used to hate) bass) I think that says enough.

This unit is a pretty good buy and shouldn’t be overlooked when building a system, specially if you’re looking to get some pretty good bass. Restores bass that usually gets lost during audio production and makes the subs hit hard. It’s compact so it won’t really take much space when installing.

I ordered one from amazon 7 band eq for about 40 bucks and hit harder than this. The check one beats this one in bass and voice big time!!. The only problem and the only reason i went with this one is because of the humm static noise that produced the cheap one. The cheap eq need to add filtration to reduce engine noise. If they improve that it will be a perfect eq much much stronger than this. I went with this because i couldn't get rid of the engine noice. I replaced cables, added filters a few different ones without success. Until some one recommended me this and my sound was reduce and sounded way weaker but this filters the static almost a 98%

Really epic product! Feels vintage I turn the wide knob all the way over. The sweep right at port tune. It restored all my bass and got my old non-rebased music back into the mix!

Si quieres darle ese bajo y profundidad a tu musica, el Epicenter no puede faltar en tu sonido, lo levanta mucho, sobre todo en musica que no suele tener mucho bajo como: musica de los 80's para atras o regional mexicana, su tamaño compacto hace muy facil que lo instales en vehiculos compactos y practicamente donde sea. En lo unico que deben terner mas cuidado por parte de amazon, es en el empaque, me llego en una bolsa... un producto electronico tan delicado deberia venir un una caja perfectamente protegido, solo era la caja original dentro de una bolsa gris de amazon, lo mismo me paso con un disco duro, y al contrario, un carrito a escala de plastico que no mide mas de 10cm lo mandaron en una caja gigante, pongan mas atencion a como empacan las cosas, nosotros los clientes les vamos a agradecer mucho.

Not sure how to compare it to other bass processors but I like audiocontrol products which is why I chose it. Probly the best quality one out there. Does what it says, adds missing bass and depth
